I first saw this game at an Anime Convention and instantly fell in love. The characters, the gameplay idea, the very concept of it, and of course that name. In fact my GF was more intent on playing this game than I was after seeing it. She loves anything Japanese, swords, girls in their underwear, and zombies. I had been hunting down this game for close to a year so when I saw it at BB for a B1G1 sale I was shocked and excited. OK, so I'm a bit of a pack rat, I know, you never see those on this website. I have decided it's time to trim things down some. I've stopped buying comics and am looking for a place to donate alot of my back issues. I'm copying my DVDs to external HD so I can pack those up. Now is the last leg of my journey, actually playing some of these games I have and then trading them in. I've gotten many a cheap game on this site in the mindset that I would eventually get around to playing it. Well, I've been saying that for years and there are many a game I haven't played because a better one is always out there to take my attention.

So I'm giving myself 2 weeks to get through as many games as I can. I in no way intend on beating these games right now. Basically I'm playing them till I get my moneys worth or till I realize I there is no way I want to continue playing this. Not every game will get cut, some I'll probably decide are good enough to stay in the collection at least till...

OK, so I have a local comic book shop I go to every week. Nothing special by the looks of it. They get comics every wednesday, mainly the popular titles but a scattering of smaller press and a TPB or 2. They have toys, statues, manga, and some D&D stuff. Mainly their big money maker is cards, magic, pokemon, naruto, and sports cards. Like I said nothing special, the reason this is the best comic shop ever is because it's a cheapass' dream!

Reason 1) - No sales tax! - Ok, so that's not the cheapest thing ever, some states have no sales tax for everything. It's just nice to know though that when you ask what the price of something is, that is the price.

Reason 2) - 30% off! - Oh what's that? Bah humbug to no sales tax you say? How about 30% off all comics, manga, and TPBs ALL THE TIME! It's a comics store that never sales a comic at full price!

Reason 3) - Anime! - Seriously!? you need more reasons? You cheap bastard. OK, well this reason...

...As we last left, our hero was just coming to the realization that his vehicle was on fire, in the bad way. Let's see what happens...

So I see that my engine is on fire, my first reaction of course is to jump back and say "holy shit my engine is on fire". This is where my training kicks in, I remember that all our vehicles have accident report sheets, first aid kits, and mini-fire extinguishers. So I jump to the side of my vehicle, open the door, and find the accident reports. Now apparently, I confused what we do have with what we should have because we ain't got shit. In my calm panic I said screw it and ran to the apartment complex I was currently burning outside of. I knew all apartments complexes SHOULD have fire extinguishers and luckily enough I found one without any trouble. As we all know fire extinguishers are housed in little cases that say "in case...

ok, well this is a story I've told before but I don't know if I have on here. I promise you it happened to me and is 118% true!


OK, well first I will start by saying hello, my name is Brandon, and I'm a mailman. Most of you know this but I'm stating it for it is a main point of the story. So as a mailman we drive vehicles called LLVs (Long Life Vehicles) they are called this because they are SUPPOSED to last for a long time (supposed being the key word hence the CAPS). You've all seeing these boxes of death, they're old, drive like crap, are constantly in the repair shop and have the blind spot of a small whale.

Anyway, one day I was doing a driving route which means we have to turn the engine off at every house, deliver the mail, then start the engine right back up, as most people know this is horrible for any automobile. So as I was delivering to an apartment...

OK, I'm here to introduce you to my latest obsession, Mighty Muggs! These are basically 10inch vinyl figures painted to look like certain characters. They don't do much, their head turn, their arms and legs move, and once in a while they come with an add on (i.e. lightsaber)

Right now they have Marvel, Star Wars, and Indiana Jones. The best are Marvels, then Star Wars, and lastly Indy, IMHO. Right now I have so many and I have no plans of stopping! Especially with the news of GI Joe and Transformers ones!



4 new marvel ones just came out Thor, ghost rider, black costume Spiderman, and Doc Ock. I have to say I think Thor and Ghost Rider are 2 of my favorites... till I saw the ones planned for the next wave! Frickin Galactus!

OK, here's the shirt my GF got except hers is in orange. I know I know, it's friggin awesome. I don't know if these can be found online. She got this one in the Kinokuniya bookstore in SF's Japantown. There is also one with puppies in hand rolls waiting to be eaten, but for some reason that one was disturbing to me. Hey everybody!
The girlfriend and I went to San Francisco this monday for her birthday. We started off early and hit our favorite spot, Japantown! Every time we go to San Francisco we have to go to the mall they have here. we always end up buying something, usually something we don't need but it so awesome we have to get! She got a shirt with some kittens as sushi (weird but incredibly cute), she has a thing for cats.











We then decided to hit every comic shop in we could find in San Francisco. Our favorite was Isotope which is this shop on Fell...

OK so I got Soul Calibur 4 and find it to me completely awesome! Not for the fighting though, not even for the story like you would think! No my dear friend I love it for the Create a Character. This is by far the most fun to be had and can take an hour a time for some of the souls you bring into being (ok, that was a bit much). Anyway, I'm just gonna share with you a few I've made. Nothing great, except for Koffe Brown, I love her.

OK, I know a lot of people love Wolverine. Kids love him, my girlfriend loves him, the pope loves him. Me on the other hand, "eh". Don't get me wrong, I like him, but only as a supporting character. Now saying that, I LOVE this book so far. It's 50 years after the "Night the Heroes Fell". Wolverine goes only by Logan now and is living in Sacramento (Awesome!) with his wife and 2 kids as a pacifist.

Basically times are rough after the villains took over and Logan's gots ta make rents. Enter a blind Hawkeye who's got a job for Logan. Hawkeye needs to deliver some good to New Babylon and needs Logan as a guide. I'm so glad they made this a "buddy flick" type of book. Hawkeye's a lil crazy but still a total badass even without sight and wolverine plays a good stoic straight man. The real star of this book though is the world (and that map!) these heroes are forced to barely get by in. Every issue shows you more and more...
