Well Here we are again...
Went to Best Buy today to pick up Brutal Legend, and after grabbing a copy I noticed they have a shelf of games that were "buy any game an get 50% of any one of these games"
After looking through them (it was really just clearance type games) I did find one game I was interested in... Tetris Evolution
They had it marked as 19.99, and with the 50% off it was under 10 bucks.
A slide of the old debit card later, and a long walk back to work (I have blisters on my feet from it), my stack is 2 cases taller.
Popped in Brutal Legend after getting home, and after about 3 hours of play...
IT F'N ROCKS
It may have a few technical flaws, but the style and fun factor is outrageous. The music is amazing, the setting is insane, the combat is exciting and the humor is METAL. I really hope this game does well and turns into a true franchise. I say it's Face Meltingly good!

Well, I stopped by Game Crazy today (its about 30 miles away, but I was down in that area already) and rifled through the used sections (all of them) and even though there was a 2 for 1 sale going on, I could only come up with one game I really wanted...
Metal Gear Ac!d 2
I have always been curious about the MGA games since they first came out. Seemed like a they could have potential. Now that I have a PSP they were kind of on my radar.
Well they had both MGA and MGA2 sitting there for $7.99, and I thought what the hell.
I decided to skip the first one since everything I read says the second one is better and fixes many of the problems from the first. I am actually pretty stoked to try it, so much so that I threw it into my PSP to go to work with me tomorrow (yay for hour long lunches)
I guess that takes my games i am currently playing officially to 8, and since I am getting Brutal Legend tomorrow I will be at 9.
Combine that with a slight burning desire...

With my upcoming purchase of Brutal Legend on Thursday, my current "now playing" count should be up to like 8 games. Does this seem ridiculous? Can that many games truly be managed properly? That is more then one per system I own. And I am getting the hankering to start a couple more from the backlog.
I guess I have an issue with sticking with one game till the end. I have been better about it this year, I finished 3 games in a row before starting any in between (Blazblue, Shadow Complex and Dissidia). Ok ok I lied, I played Trails HD between SC and D:FF, but do you really blame me for not beating it? Now I am trying to juggle MGS4, LBP, Socom FTB2, Mirrors Edge, Warhawk, Guilty Gear, Motostorm... and to make it worse I grabbed my DS and a bunch up carts for my man purse (yes I own a man purse and I am damn proud).
Its gets to the point where I spend so much time trying to figure out what i am feeling like playing that I wear my self out and dont play anything at...

Well the reviews for Brutal Legend are starting to come out...
AND I WANT IT!!
I really liked the demo and everything I have seen of it, but just knowing how much different and fun the game turned out makes me foam at my mouth.
I am actually considering going to the midnight release tonight, not because I want to stay up and play it (cause I have work in the morning) but just because, well I am just a crazy fan boy bitch i guess. I am consumerism incarnate. There is no cure for my disease, just suppressing the beast by buying things.
I need help...
or more expendable income.

This is my first blog post... so if you hate it, well that's fine.
Been a CAG for almost 4 years now, but always just looking for deals and not participating much.
Well am going to change that a bit and start getting into the awesome new social aspects that are being added. In fact I am doing that right now (blogging).
I also just finished up adding all my console games (I didn't bother with the 100+ PC games I own) to the my collection section.
I learned a few things...
1) I own a 110 games (not including PC games)
2) Of those 110 games I have only beat 30 of them
3) 12 of the 80 I have not beat I have yet to even play
4) Rating you own game collection is useless, unless you buy shitty games
5) I own a game that had no box art (Imagine Party Babyz)
6) I publicly admitted to owning Imagine Party Babyz
7) My backlog is ENORMOUS!
Even with everything I just listed I am still searching CAG for more games...
