What do you do when you no longer have an inspiration? Nothing to believe in?

What do you do when your goals are pushed aside and you're back at nothing?

I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I'm going to make the best of it.

Over the course of many months I've tried very hard to make the most out of what I can do for my friends, my community and for everyone in the competitive fighting game scene. I'll tell you what. I don't care about it anymore.

I'm going to focus on work and my agenda. I have a lot of stuff planned for myself this year and I'm excited/nervous about what it entails. You guys will hear about it someway or another. I'm sorry if I let anyone down but I really need to start focusing on things and stop trying to help people that can't help me. I'll gladly be pinned a selfish bastard if you think that's a good enough title.

Before someone agrees and says " the haters!" Watch out. I'm hater...

Christmas is just a few days away. I'm fully engrossed in my work and side projects that I haven't even come close to putting Christmas/the Holidays into perspective.

Damn it all. When did I level up on responsibility? I'm always about getting it done. I need a vacation. And no, not a trip to LA. That happens MUCH too often. I'll be going out of the country in early 2010 and while it is a work-related trip, I can't help but hold back the excitement.

It will do me good to just get away from everything for awhile. The daily grind, the monotony and repetition of the typical work day. Absence makes the heart grow fonder after all!

I've been trying to play more video games during some downtime at home. I started on The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks the other day. It's actually kind...

I just had an awesome weekend in Anaheim. Weekend was full of business, pleasure, competitive gaming, good food, good people, and awesome hookups.

Friday morning I went to work and we left early around lunch time to head up for MLG Anaheim to talk some business...



After the rest of the Mad Catz guys left, I stuck around with my beautiful friend Faye as we watched intently on high level play ranging from Gears of War 2, Halo 3, and World of Warcraft...

On the topic of life... This has been the worst past two months ever. All I'm doing is focusing on work, nothing but work.

I have a little break in November where I'll be attending NORCAL Regionals, a well known annual fighting game tournament in Northern California. I haven't had a looksie around San Francisco in a long time so I'll be taking an extra day off to check out the sights.

I'm also planning the rest of my vacation time for the rest of...

I've been SUPER busy the last month and a half preparing for a lot of new personal/work related projects.

I'm back in San Diego! I was in Seattle for about 6 days for this year's Penny-Arcade Expo! I can't wait until next year and PAX East!

Ok, no one cares. No one reads this.

But!

I'm coming out with two books that I hope to have printed by March of next year at the latest. One of them will have to do with something that is very near and dear to me... Arcade Sticks.

The other book will focus on the competitive gaming community (mostly fighting games) and will be a story told mostly through pictures. Think of it as a coffee table picture book.

I've also heard good news about a very big game from the land of the rising sun being ported over for a NA release.

Look forward to something from me to help support this title! *tease tease*

Lastly. Work is owning me like crazy. I used to go out every weekend and see...
