So a couple of months ago one of my Ragtag CAG friends (thorbahn3) suggested I visit Disney World one day. It just so happens that me and the Mrs had been discussing what to do for a vacation. I had suggested we attend PAX West, but she didnt seem too thrilled about that, then the Disney idea came into play and the more we looked into it, the more it took our interest. We have never been big Disney Fans, apart from a few of the latter movies the older stuff just never interested me. Well after looking over everything that was available we decided to book a trip to Disney World in Florida. On July 22nd we took a 3 hour Southwest Airlines Flight to Orlando Florida and our Adventure began.

Before I go any further I will say that I dont give every detail as my words will never ever live up to the actual experience of the visit. Disney World is something that must be seen to truly appreciate, and I highly recommend that if you ever get the chance, take the trip.

This is just a recommendation for a great movie I just saw. My wife is into foreign films, so shes always watching something obscure. Well she came across a real gem with the movie "Let the Right One In".
This film is really hard to classify, its part horror, part supernatural thriller, part teen drama, and part love story. It is available on netflix (no instant watch ) so check it out. you might enjoy it as much as I did

When I received my code to access the PSN Home Beta trial I didn't know much about it. The Avatar creation was the only real knowledge I had so there was not much expectation going in. It took me only a few minutes to realize that this could be the beginning to something great for online networking and socializing but also sadly this could end up being nothing but a fancy ploy by sony to squeeze more money from its customers.

You start off by creating a Virtual YOU. If anyone has played SAINTS ROW then the avatar creating process will see very familiar. You can custom style your characters gender, Race, Hair, Height, weight, etc.... Then outfit him/her with a few preset pieces of clothing and accessories.

once thats done, you are shown inside your apartment that you can decorate (More on that later)

Leaving home, you stand in the PSN Home Courtyard. This is where all the users meet to mingle. You see all the other PSN users wandering around,...

Ok, its like 3:30am so give me a break if this isn't as detailed as youd like.

1st off, I got the Bundle with the Headset.
You must charge the headset for at least an hour before you plan to use it.
plugging it into a PC usb port works just as well for this.
To use it with your PS3 there are 2 ways you can do this.
Either the Pairing Direct way via USB (The recommended way), or the typical Bluetooth scan for device way.
using the USB method gives you a better sound quality (allegedly)


To pair it properly via USB, first your PS3 must be updated with the 2.50 firmware.
Then plug one end of the usb cable directly into the Headset (NOT the CRADLE) by the covered connection port at the top of the headset (by the Power button), then connect the other end into your powered on PS3.
The charge light will blink red for a few seconds, then the power light will blink green, then the red charge light will remain on.
Disconnect...

Ok, ok, this is my very first blog, so cut me some slack here.

Ever since John McCain selected Sara Palin as his running mate all I hear is how "real" and down to earth" Governor Palin is. How she is "One of us". When in fact she is just as disconnected from common American folks as John McCain. Im not saying the Dems are more connected than the republicans, as far as im concerned most if not all politicians have a very large disconnect from the common American person, but at least tell me you understand our plight and offer some suggestions to help. Not one time do you hear either of these two say they understand the public education system is failing, that we need to work on reducing our dependence of foreign oil, that we need to stem the tide of rampant outsourcing of American jobs to overseas workers, That we need to fix our V.A. care system so that our vets and returning wounding soldiers get the treatment they deserve.
