I finally got a stable 4 player Castle Crashers game last night with 3 of my friends. Needless to say it was worth the wait, and i hope my luck continues. This game is highly effecting my sleep patterns.

I went into my living room this evening and noticed that the red or yellow light was absent on my Wii. I went to turn it on and the power button did nothing. After i unplugged it and plugged it back it the light came back on, but the system would not start.
I followed all usual troubleshooting, and went through nintendo's FAQ's but to my chagrin, no luck. My Wii is a day one, launch wii, so it is, naturally, out of warranty. I called nintendo basically to ask how much they charge. 83 dollars is the short answer. Yikes.
I explained very politely that even though my Xbox 360 was out of warranty, they repaired that for free when I had an issue, and asked if i could get some sort of discount. She put me on hold and spoke with her supervisor and gave me 25 dollars off. So basically I got the repair for 56 dollars, shipping included, which, to me is a lot easier to stomach than 83.
Overall though, I was extremely impressed with the courtesy and friendly attitude...
