Over Is Right, Under Is Wrong by Current Configuration |
![]() ![]() Toilet paper has a natural curve, a way of being that lends itself to certain orientations on the toilet paper spool.* If handled with skill and knowledge, it can provide an abundance of both sanitation and comfort, quilted together in each square of pillowy ply. If handled with clumsy ignorance, or worse, carelessness, it will beset the user with pain, filth, and frustration. Don’t let it end this way, with you curled on the tile floor of the stall, weeping in frustration, covered in wasted papier de toilette. To convince you, we’ve created some diagrams, harnessing the power of SCIENCE, to demonstrate the natural benefits of the... |

New PSP 3001 Model Revealed By FCC

![]() Click Image For Boring Paperwork Doesn't look like too much has changed... Don't know what that antenna could be used for though I swear, the best addition that could be included in a new PSP would be internal storage in my opinion (keep your fingers crossed?) |

Where The Hell Is My Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 3?!?
By xGunCrazyx 08-13-2008 09:31 PM
|
|
Today I was very very bored, and had Frank Black's "Gimme Danger" cover stuck in my head. This was of course performed for Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2's soundtrack and was used in trailers and whatnot. Couldn't find the song anywhere, so I decided to try to download the video off Youtube, and convert it to MP3. It worked, but the quality was shitty xP. So I finally downloaded the song off the new Rhapsody store for 99 cents (DRM free music ftw. I'll be using Rhapsody for now on.)
This got me thinking about why there has been no information on GRAW 3. I was a HUGE fan of GRAW 1, and GRAW 2 was great as well. These days, I never seem to play single player campaigns, but I made sure to finish both campaigns in the GRAW series. I thought the gameplay was very refreshing, and story was interesting enough. The multiplayer was also one of my favorites this gen. Much more tactical than say Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4. Some of my best times on XBL were on GRAW 1/2.... |

LittleBigPlanet on... PC!?!? |

I NEED One of These....
By xGunCrazyx 08-06-2008 11:05 PM

Man, I'd kill for one of these... It's pretty much an NES controller with a USB stick and part of a keyboard inside, which you can just connect to any computer and instantly play. He has a tutorial to create your very own if you'd like. I'd try, but I know I'd end up just screwing up. xP I've asked him if he was willing to sell any about a month ago, and he said he had no intentions of doing so, but asked what I'd pay. I told him I would probably be willing to pay about $100 for one of these. Looks like he has changed is mind since then, and is in the process of creating 10 of them to sell on ebay. Hopefully they won't cost too much lol |

Activists Protest America's Army Game With Songs and Stickers by Wired's Chris Kohler
By xGunCrazyx 08-06-2008 09:56 PM

I'd like to begin by saying this is going to be a pretty straight forward copy/paste from an original article.
Don't like to do this too often, but I felt this was a pretty interesting story... I have left out a little bit so that it would fit this post (Damn 1000 character limit...) Chris Kohler's original post can be found HERE _____________________________________ ![]() SAN FRANCISCO -- Ubisoft felt the full force of San Francisco's two dozen or so most dedicated daytime protesters Wednesday, as the mostly ruly mob descended upon the gamemaker's headquarters to have a good old-fashioned demonstration. At issue was the company's Xbox 360 version of America's Army, the Department of Defense-funded shooter that purports to present a realistic simulation of military operations. The game, or so the logic went, is being used in violation of "international... |

My Love of the Tony Hawk Series and How EA Might Win Me Over...
By xGunCrazyx 08-01-2008 07:15 PM
|
|
Let me begin with how I first fell in love with the Tony Hawk series. Back in 2000, I begged my father to purchase me a copy of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 for the Playstation 1. I had to wait a few months, but finally I got it as a birthday present. I was so excited... I played the crap out of it for not only months, but years... I was still playing that same copy of THPS2 even when Tony Hawk's Underground 2 came out. To this day, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 is one of the greatest games I have ever played..
This didn't mean I missed the others though. I went on to purchase 3 and 4 on release, and eventually Tony Hawk's Underground 1 and 2. 3 and 4 were very well done in my opinion, with 4 being better than 3. As for the Tony Hawk's Underground series, this was what I think the beginning of the end of the series. THUG 1 was actually a decent game, but nowhere near the amazing THPS series. THUG 2 was probably the worst Tony Hawk game I had ever played. It felt more like an episode... |

Kotaku given preview copy of Ghostbusters: The Videogame
By xGunCrazyx 07-31-2008 05:28 PM
|
![]() According to Kotaku.com, they have unexpectedly received a preview copy of Ghostbusters: The Videogame. As BlueSwim wrote about in his blog post, Activision had dropped the game recently, so this is quite surprising. Sounds like the developers are trying to reassure to gamers that the game is still alive, and will eventually be released. From Kotaku:

Metal Gear Solid Collection: New Additions! |
![]() Got these in the mail today! First of all, I got my complete/mint copy of Metal Gear for NES. I'm actually very surprised at the condition, considering it is now a 20 year old game. Got it for $53 shipped USPS Priority from gametz.com, which I felt was a pretty fair price (some go for about $90 shipped on eBay) Second of all, I replaced my copy of Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance for PC. My original copy had a busted up box, and the disk had some scratches. Sold it on eBay for $22, then got this complete/mint copy from Craigslist for $20 shipped. EDIT: Forgot to mention I received a copy of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater a few days ago. I traded my $5 copy of Metroid Prime Pinball for it! Anyways, I have a few more things coming in the mail that are MGS related. - Calorie Mate from MGS3 (Getting it from a Japanese seller on eBay.) ... |

An Open Suggestion To Improve CAG Blogs (Can we get better blog posts? Part II) |
![]() Although it hasn't been too much of a problem lately, I have a few suggestions that could potentially improve the quality of posts here on CAG. To begin with, I would consider possibly putting a limitation on creating blog posts before a member reaches a required amount of say 100-200 posts in the forums. Or to avoid possible spam, maybe make it a time requirement (Be a member for 3 to 6 months)? Another suggestion that I'd make is maybe getting dedicated blog moderators. I'm not sure about the current situation with how the blogs are moderated, but it would be great to have a group of moderators who are specifically assigned to the CAG blogs. The following posts inspired this post:

Resistance 2 Beta Access in Qore Episode 3 [UPDATED] |
![]() Sounds like Sony is finally giving us a reason to pay for their new Qore content. Those who purchase episode 3 of Qore will gain access to the Resistance 2 beta taking place this September. I haven't even played the first game, as I just bought a PS3 about a month ago. Might give this a shot though. I must say, an episode of Qore costs less than Crackdown (Halo 3 beta anyone? UPDATE: The guys at Insomniac have contacted Kotaku earlier today, hoping to clear up the deal with Qore's Resistance 2 Beta :
