I purchased an iPhone 3G right before the 3GS came out... and began buying lots of .99 cent games. I knew the iPhone 4 would be much more powerful and I bought it as soon as I could. About 1 year later I stopped playing iOS games. The only game I play once every 3 or 4 days when I am in the toilet and I don't have anything to read is Infinity Blade. I got tired of Angry Birds, Flight Control, Tiny Wings and the rest of the over 100 games I have. I think that without proper buttons I will no longer be doing any gaming on my phone. I would much rather play my DS Lite and am looking forward to a 3DS once the good games come out. I am not looking forward to a Sony Vita because if I wanted to play those types of games I would much rather play them on my TV with a proper controller. Went by my local Borders since it's going out of business to find some books but I couldn't find any. Walked over to the comics and bluray section since they were 60% off and scored the following for $10 each after tax! Especially good since I just finished Incredible Hulk Vol. 1 and was about to order Vol. 2 from Amazon. Just wish I could have found some more stuff.

I am going to be getting my tax return and I really want to treat myself. Last year it all went to paying for summer school but this year financial aid will be taking care of it. I am really thinking of getting a Mac. I have a little experience coding and I wanted to see if I can write some iOS apps, even if they're just for me to use. I was looking at a 11 inch Macbook air but I don't like the fact that they still use the old processors. I was also thinking of the 13 inch Pro, I just wish it didn't have a CD/DVD drive and a better screen. I could wait for the Fall since they always have the free iPod touch which I could use. I was also thinking of getting a PS3 since it's the only console I am missing but I don't know how much I'd use it. My laptop already has a Bluray player so that's not really a factor. 3DS? As some of you may know SDCC tickets went on sale today and they couldn't have done it in any worse way. They put the sale off because they were looking for a better way to sell them and it seems they were just sitting on their asses doing nothing. I spent 4 hours and 40 minutes trying to get 4 4-Day passes. I was able to get 2 Junior passes in 2 hours but I couldn't manage to get adult passes. I had to get 8 single day passes and that was a FUCKING hassle. I could've avoided all of this but I didn't want to walk over and buy them on site last year. Guess this year will be worse since a lot more people are going to try and buy them on site as well.

Still waiting on Superbad and I missed out on Back to the Future and Target cancelled my LOTR Trilogy Spent less than half of what I spent last year but I didn't actually do any Xmas shopping, this is all for me!. Don't know if that's a good thing or not. At least I didn't have to go to the store this year although that was fun last year.

WTF Apple! WTF!

This is by far the worst program I have ever used this much on PC. It's a hog, I really think this thing uses more resources than my Linux Ubuntu dual boot. It keeps freezing for 3-10 seconds from time to time for no apparent reason. I am forced to use it because I have an iPhone and an iPod and there is no other way to sync without it. I avoid using it as much as I can, I download apps, updates and podcast straight to my iPhone whenever I can but I can't do that on my Nano. I know Apple does this on purpose to get people to switch over to a Mac so that pisses me off even more. I am seriously thinking of getting one of the new Mac Book Air or a 13 in Mac Book Pro just so I can sync without any hassle (And maybe so I can learn to make apps) but I think it's sad that companies still cripple software to screw the competition over. WTF is wrong with people? I can understand if you inhale or exhale air loudly but not when you make weird noises with every single rep. It pisses me off and messes with my concentration. Some people are so loud that even with the volume on my iPhone all the way up I can hear them.

People at the gym who just go hang out! WTF is wrong with you people. There was this girl the other day there with her friend but she wasn't going anything. Her friend was on the treadmill and she was just standing next to her not doing shit. Then they proceeded to do some weight training and she was just looking at her friend. Every time I go to the gym there is someone not doing much just using up all the equipment that other really want to use.

No, really. Those of us that speak Mexican (Spanish) know that Spanish can be quite different from country to country and apparently Kinect will not recognize "Spanish" at launch. Apparently it cannot understand the accent from Spain. Even in Mexico there are some accents from the south that are hard to understand for people from northern Mexico so I wonder what will happen there or even here in the U.S where there are some accents also.

I had a wonderful time at Comic-con this year and I have to say I am glad it is over. I was there Friday-Sunday and I was about to drop dead near the end. Comics, games, TV shows, movies, hot cosplayers, not-so-hot cosplayers, over priced food, crowds, people getting stabbed in the eye etc. it was all great and I really look forward to it next year. I had a blast that the Chuck panel they really took the time to come up with something very entertaining and the Smallville panel was pretty sweet as well. I just got back to school from SDCC and I have to take a final in about an hour and a half so I will post some pics with highlight later or a link to my flickr page once my pics are finished uploading.

So who here is going to Comic-con this year. I have my bag ready already and getting all the necessary stuff ready, i.e. Camera, phone, DS, etc. I bought the 4-day pass with preview night but one of my professors would only push my final back one day and I will miss Wednesday and Thursday, still better than last year when I only gt tickets for Friday. I am a little bummed that I won't make it to the Dexter panel . For those of you going, what are you most looking forward too?

It took me 4 years to finally break the 10,000 Gamer score barrier. 81 games played and a possible 73,360. A lot of those games have 0 GS and a some I played a lot such as Fight Night Round 3 and 4 and the FIFA games but I played them mostly against friends. There are other games like Halo 3, MW, MW2, TF2 and BF BC that I played A LOT! but award little or no GS. I have spent hundreds if not thousands of hours playing my 360 and all I get is a number next to my gamertag , maybe video games are a waste of time after all

About one year ago I went to Hasting and walked by the comics section and spotted World of New Krypton #1
I thought it was interesting since I have always loved Superman 1 and 2 and really enjoy watching Smallville so I decided to pick it up. In January I had decided to buy tickets for SDCC for my brother and I. So I go to SDCC and see all this hype about Blackest Night and so I decide to go watch the premier of Green Lantern First Flight, big mistake. That movie ignited a spark and I decided to get Blackest Night, Blackest Night Batman, Blackest Night Superman, Blackest Night Titans etc. I now have a subscription to around 25 different comics through heavyink not counting those I decide to go buy in store once in a while. Last month I also purchased a bunch of paperbacks and hard covers, it didn't help that Amazon had that sale/price mistake and I also got some stuff from instocktrades,...

I was a very avid player of Modern Warfare and loved the game very much. When Modern Warfare 2 was launched I went as far as to buy the special edition Xbox 360. I have been playing the game since launch and even though I have not played nearly as much as I did MW I am beginning to have a lot of problems with it, two problems to be more precise. MW2's re-spawning is not nearly as polished as the first game was. I have been having this problem where I spawn and get killed within 2 seconds over and over again. Yesterday I got killed 7 times in a row within 15 seconds! I understand sometimes you spawn and people are camping but I cannot understand why I have to spawn right in front of somebody that is already shooting. In MW i never had that problem, I might get killed a time or two after spawning but I was never this frustrated with it. The other problem I am having is trying to find games, yesterday I spent 15-20 minutes trying to find a game before I shut down my Xbox an tried again...

This was my first BF since 2005, i think, and it was a pretty decent. I got to my local mall at about 1:00 am. I drove by Walmart but didn't think it was my best option. I went by BestBuy and there was a line about 500+ people long, I was told some of those people had been in line since Thursday morning (There was nothing on sale worth that much wait). I decided to take a look at Target and there was only about 15-20 people in line so my two cousins and I decided that was our best bet. At 5:00 am the doors opened and I got a 32 inch TV for $250, a digital picture frame $30 and season 1 of Dexter, I ran out of there as soon as I could which was about 30 minutes. Next stop BestBuy. I got a Mario DSi two cellphone and FIFA 10 but I had to wait about 1.5 hrs in line, outrageous. Next I went to Walmart and got Rockband for $50. I think I did pretty good, I liked being outside of the store just hanging out talking to people. Now I am gonna hit Amazon.com and finish my Xmas shopping...

I just found out the 4-Day passes are on sale already and I had to go ahead and get them. I went to my first comic-con this summer and it was great. I was only there for Thursday afternoon and Friday but it was great. I missed out on the 4-Day passes last year and I got them secured this time already. Just thought I'd let fellow CAGs know.

This thing is AMAZING IMO. Could be one of the best Collector's Editions ever. Too bad it is only for Japan for now.

This is my attempt at a Review so sorry if it isn't very good, like to keep it short because not everyone likes reading.

Whenever I walk into an arcade the first thing I look for is always a Street Fighter II Turbo Arcade. Why? Because even today SF2T is one of the best fighting games of all time. I can only hope that they actually made SF2THD Arcades some time in the future.

Street Fighter II Turbo HD is awesome. It is just the game that I loved and still love to play over and over again but with enough tweaks to add tons of more ways to play the game. The graphics are obviously much better and I knew that coming into the game but I had no idea the sound was also going to be as good as it is. If you've never played SF2T, this game is easy to get into. If you have played it you will be surprised how much more depth the game has with very minor tweaks that do...
