10.Dead Rising (Xbox 360)


When It comes to games movies, comics or whatever I am obsessed with things that have to deal with zombies. Seeing as this game was my gateway into being apart of the movie Dawn of the Dead I was excited. Mowing down hordes of zombies in the tunnel just to get that stupid achievement lol. All and all I had lots of fun with this game, I spend tons of time leveling up Frank and mastering his moves.

9. Pokemon Blue and Red (GB)


Pokemon was one of those games I got that I just couldnt put down. With the combine help of some friends, a link cable and lots of time I did in fact collect them all (no Mew tho). It was a fun game and I put in tons of hours and just when I thought I was done playing Pokemon a long time ago last christmas I got Pokemon Platinum....

Well it has been a couple weeks since I last had a blog and I am trying to keep it up ever so often. It's kind of hard to do when not much happens in life during the summer. So this will just be about a bunch of random stuff in my life.
With E3 long and gone this year I feel I should just say the one thing I liked from the three main companies then move one

I have a big backlog of games(as does 99% of the people on CAG) that I have been working on this summer. I have made a list of the games and when I finish one of them I highlight it and somewhere deep down I feel like I achieved greatness. Last week I finished Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters for the PSP, this past weekend I finished Rock Band Beatles(PS3) and Bioshock 2(360). Well this summer has been good so far. I am up at school(Lake Superior State University) for the summer, not taking classes but working on campus for the housing office and public safety department. So far this summer I have picked up a few new games such as Red Dead Redemption(360), 3D Dot Heroes(PS3), Modnation Racers(PS3), Lunar(PSP) and Super Street Fighter IV(PS3) just to name a few. Gaming has been great just trying to get my backlog down again but who knows if that will happen lol. Right now I'm mostly playing Red Dead, Modnation and Borderlands(PS3). Aside from games I work out all week except weekends. On Mon,Wed,Fri I run atleast 2-2.5 miles and then tues,thurs I lift weights. I am trying to lose weight so I can wrestle this school year for our newly formed club wrestling team.

Things I am excited for/ doing in the coming months are:

-Going to see movies such as: Toy Story 3, Shrek 4, Prince of Persia, A-Team, Jonah...

Well its been sometime now the last time I made a blog post and I finally decided today to update on my summer so far. To start things off at the beginning of summer after I was done with the spring semester at Lake Superior State University I went home in search of a job. What I got was a position at Taco Bell that ended up being craptastic. I had certain things going on at home(Redford,MI 10 mins outside of Detroit) that I just didnt want to deal with so I ended up moving back up to school( I live in the townhouses on campus). I have a job up here being a Public Safety Dispatcher and I'm so much happier now.

Next, Ive been to the movies a few things this summer and out of all the movies I saw my top five were Transformers 2, Star Trek, Angels and Demons, Terminator:Salvation and Harry Potter(which was ok but not amazing).

As far as gaming stuff I have picked up some stuff but mostly used older next-gen titles such as Bioshock(360), Overlord(360), Gears of War(360)...

Wow is all I can say about this. I finally got my first pay check today and decided to go cash it and go get some new things. Well I went a Meijer in Livonia MI and as soon as I went to look at games there it was a Brand new PSone just looking me in the eyes and it was only 19.99 so I said to myself go for it lol. Well its been awhile since I last posted a blog and a lot has actually happened since then. I finished my third year in college and are now home for the summer where I currently work at a Taco Bell and trying to get a part time job at a gamestop. With those aside I have picked up GTA4(xbox360), Infamous, Punch out and Robocop on Blu-ray for $10. Ive been playing a lot of wingman with my buddy on Gears 2 and COD:WAW hardcore search, Infamous and I throw some punches in punch out now and then. Im loving Infamous and its so hard to put down, with that said I also pre ordered Prototype(360) and cant wait to play that. Ive seen a few new movies all of which I really like regardless of what others say such as Star Trek, Mall Cop, Underworld 3, Terminator: Salvation, Angels and Demons, and Wolverine. Now ive come to my E3 part where I cant wait to see what new things im most excitited to see or hear about. I saw the leak of the new psp and im not a big fan of the no umd but hey im willing to...

Well I finally got to see Silverstein and I must say....DAMN was it so much FUN!!!!!!!!!! I got to meet and talk to the lead singer of A Static Lullaby, shook hands with the lead singer and one of the guitarist from Silverstein, I caught a drum stick from Silverstein and got into some mosh pits and took part in a murder wall( I weight 285, so I caused some damage lol but didnt hurt anyone) and got asked for change from 2 bums and watched as the one of the guitarist from Before their eyes buy some weed lol. All and all it was amazing, now for the video game side of my weekend I headed over to gamestop for the B2G1 sale and picked up FF:crisis core(PSP), Overlord(PS3) and Alone in the Dark(PS3) and from the gamerday sale I got FF1 and Silent Hill for the PSP. Then went over to a blockbuster and picked up Bioshock for the PS3 for $20. Finally ended at BestBuy with the $10 game sale with SoulCalibur 4 and 007 both for the PS3. Now I'm back up school waiting to take the rest of my finals and...

Hell Yes it is time for the weekend and only another day until I go see Silverstein in Det, MI. Alas I also have some other items in my list for this weekend which are gaming related and my impression of the UFC demo for the PS3. To start today I browsed the new Playstation store stuff and came upon the UFC demo and thought what the hell its free. To my surprise I did like the demo but I also thought it was way too short. I started off as Chuck Liddell and just came out swinging just to see how I would do and I knocked out the other guy in one minute. Next match I tried some of the grappling and I didnt knowing what I was doing so nothing happened much with that other than I got out of a submission. The rest of the matches I just TKO the CPU and just thought it was too easy until one round the CPU was Chuck Liddell and TKO me within it throwing 4 punches and a kick. DAMN U!!!! So whatever, Ill rent it when it comes out and Ill go from there. Anyway starting tomorrow at 12 in the afternoon...

Well only a week and a half left of classes for me then a week of finals and then its summer for me lol. I need to find a job so I can support my gaming habit this summer. My gaming goals for this summer will be to beat the 20 out 25 PS3 games I have, buy atleast one new game on each system I have, play my 360 more and my wii, buy a DSI and beat Gears of War 2 with my friend on Insane. I also have to take into account that I need to continue to stay in shape for the Police Academy next Spring because it costs atleast 2500-3000 to take it each time. Gotta save up for a wedding( which isnt for two years I know but I need to start sometime lol), save up for a handgun, and save up to buy a better car/van/truck/whatever. I feel as im just ranting but owell. Got lots of movies I look forward to seeing this summer like Wolverine, Transformers 2, Terminator(sadley no Arnold:( ), GI Joe, Star Trek and im sure there is more...

Another week down and another week with stuff that costs me money that I really don't want to spend, but with the bad does come the good. For starters the bad, which mainly consists of my van which a couple of weeks ago the battery decides to die so no biggie popped in a new one and off I go right????WRONG..... the altanator decides to die also so I now have to go a auto place tomorrow and get it fixed which my wallet will take a nice hit from. Also a couple of weeks ago (the same day my battery dies lol sadly) my laptop decides to crap out on me for the third time this year, its not that big of a deal except im up at school(Sault Ste. Marie, MI) and I leave 5 hours away(Redford, MI)and it has to go back to a bestbuy where they will either try to send it away for like a month or just give me another one who knows. So needless to say im on a school computer for now untill I got home for the summer but thats not that far away so no biggie. Now the last bad thing that happened...

So this week has been kinda bland. I have been playing Guitar Hero Metallica which has destroyed my hand lol but other then that I have been on a Arnold Schwarzenegger movie kick. So far I have watched Predator and Commando. I still need to buy more of his movies but the ones I will watch this week will be True Lies, Conan movies, T2, Kindergarten Cop, Total Recall, The 6th Day and Collatoral Damage. My favorite line is when Arnold says to Sully, " Hey Sully remember when I said I'd kill you last? I lied!" lol great stuff. To bad he decided to stop making old action movies because they had some good fight scenes in them, just tons of explosions and guns. Owell, I also watched a movie called District B-13 which is a movie from France I believe which was pretty good, it had people doing free-running stuff and it reminded me of Mirrors edge. Finally, my favorite band Silverstein had their new cd come out today but I have to wait to get paid to go pick it up but I've heard some of...

To start out I got guitar hero 3, guitar hero world tour and street fighter 4(all for PS3) and the new Static-X cd. I only had to pay for guitar hero 3 which was 15 for the guitar and game from radioshack and the cd which was 8, the rest my fiancee got for me because I took her to get her nails done but I won in the long run because the games cost more. I so stoked to play some street fighter 4 but I was never very good at the other games so I will practice up. Guitar Hero games are well.....Guitar hero games needless to say they are still fun. For anyone who listens to metal/hard rock the new Static-X cd is AMAZING and ive been listening to it non-stop. So its a great start so far to my week but I also look forward to getting lost planet from amazon and pre-ordering the new Silverstein cd and maybe going to see I LOVE YOU, MAN! As I complete my backlog of games I think I will let everyone know how it went.

It's been awhile since my last blog but I feel it is in need of being updated and weekly too. So as with lots and lots of other people I am backlogged with games like no other. My problem is I buy lots of games and when I do they are usually on sale or I can get them for a nice used price at amazon but then it comes time to sit down and play which I do with all of them but only a few minutes or so here and there. I've bought a lot of PS3 games lately and I'm so overwhelmed I sometimes don't know what I really feel like playing. For this week I've been playing lots of Burnout Paradise, COD: WAW, Killzone2, Fallout 3, and actually on the Wii Super Ghouls and Ghosts(which I finally beat but only on really easy lol). My PSN name is MS1166 so if anyone reads this feel free to add me and play some games, I'm always up for it and my backlog can grow and grow lol.

Well from watching the 3 Press Conference I feel as to say Mircosoft is something to look forward to, Nintendo just dissapoints me and well with Sony I have to say there is stuff I would love to play. My top 3 things I would be willing to purchase when they come out are RE5 I dont know which system yet, Gears of War 2 for the 360 of course and Ratchet and Clank:Quest for Booty for the PSN. This will truely but the year for my bank account to explode thats for sure. Also I picked up Unreal 3 for the PS3 from gamestop today with the 25% coupon and my discount card and I got the Eye of Judgement from Wal-mart for 29.99. I'm not too sure about UR3 but EOJ is fun but I just wish the starter deck didnt suck so much. I've won 1 out of 11 matchs with the computer

Hi this is my first blog on CAG but I've been around for alittle bit over a year and I've decided to finally state my thoughts and feeling about stuff.
