So last Sunday my wife surprised me with a brand new PS3. Being the true Cheap Ass that I am, I currently have 8 games for it and I only paid 20 bucks out of pocket.

The games I currently have are:

Littlebigplanet
MAG
God of War 3
Metal Gear Solid 4
Motorstorm
Resistance
Medal of Honor
Unreal Tournament 3

I've always had Sony consoles in my house up until this gen came around. For the past 3 years I've been strictly an Xbox 360 user. With that being said I will say my biggest grip with the system is these software updates. While usually they're bad on the 360, every game I've put in needs to do an update. As I'm posting this, Littlebigplanet is currently on 4 of 11 updates!!!!

Aside from the constant updating, this machine is incredible. The biggest plus for me is how quiet it is. I still can;t get over the fact that even when playing a blu ray its so quiet.

Game wise I'm really digging the games thus far. Metal Gear is just unreal, same with God of War 3. (Medal of Honor and UT3 were only purchased because I heard that MOH had frontline exclusively and UT3 actually has Mods.)

Well, this is my first blog entry, and I felt that this would be a good way to kick it off with my first order from inetvideo experience.

Lets start off with what I got:

I got the Ultimate Matrix Collection and 300 for myself, and Failure to Launch for my Wife. All on HD DVD, or so I thought. I was looking at 300 and something seemed off.

While the case itself and the cover art were fine, I opened it up and noticed this.

The disc was NOT a HD DVD/ DVD combo disc. I thought to myself "Nice, the sent me the regular HD DVD version inside a combo disc case. Upon closer inspection, I noticed what it actually was.

Yep, if you look closely, you'll see that it is the Blu Ray version of the film. Under normal circumstances I wouldn't complain, but I don't have a blu ray player, and don't intend on getting one anytime soon.
