Most say Call of Duty World... Ok, so there is alot of heated discussion about which game is better. Most say Call of Duty World at War is all about sub-machine guns, and is extremeley unbalanced. This is true. They say that Infinity Ward made a better game then Treyarch, this is somewhat true. They key is that they made a more balanced game than Treyarch, but in the end Treyarch was the better developer because they have patched when needed, and released tons of DLC. There is also one last Map pack coming soon. (Map Pack 4), I only buy for zombies since it is the only part of the game that interests me, the map is rumored to be in Area 51.

...I want to know which Call of Duty you like better? It could be any, not just 4 and 5.

...Have you pre-ordered Modern Warefare 2? Which Verision?

Since I ordered it directly from dell I got Windows Vista Home Basic, I didn't think I needed anything above Basic but unfortuantley I learned later that you can only upgrade to Windows 7 for free if you have a better edition. This kind of pisses me off because all versions are just as broken as each other. Yet only the higher ones get free upgrades. Oh well though....

I think that its mostly the shock that makes someone groan. I've seen someone break thier femur and they were just SCREAMING, I know the femur is the strongest bone in the body, I didnt sream when i broke my ankle I groaned a hell of a lot, dislocating my knee was not even a problem, it was just the shock. Official Servers- The server rotations are mixed up and have the wrong rotations, they sometimes won't take the stats for you to rank up, they won't allow ranks in even though they are under the max rank.


MIC- No matter what you do the in game voice communication will not be fixed with out a patch form Incog/Sony, sometimes the notification that someone is talking won't come up at all


People lagging when there is nothing wrong with connection- You might've noticed that more and more people are starting to do the jumping thing even though they are not lagging at all. Even I was jumping up and down 10 ft high, and I have a perfect connection!


Incognito asking Sony, Sony not providing- The Warhawk community has begged Incog, who has begged Sony for a patch, one final patch that would fix most of the problems with the game.


Holiday Season Kills- Warhawk is no longer being updated , there are no more patches to fix the problem,no patch to fix the Voice communication, many new games coming out that are great this holiday season, player base went from a good 5,000+ to 2,000+ (this sunday), and weekdays it's getting about 1,000, slowly decreasing this game is in a dying state. It might last another longer if Sony would allow an update to fix the problems. People aren't asking for new content just a fix for the old
Warhawk never really reached it's full potential, if they had another Incognito gamer day and then updated it ONE LAST TIME, it would be able to survive maybe into Q2 of next year.


Probably the longest blog post I've ever made (sorry) you are only interested this if you are a big fan of Warhawk.

Why I didn't Buy 360-
  1. Red Ring of Death
  2. High Failure Rate
  3. Only Games I looked forward to wear Halo 3 and Gears 2
  4. Pay to Play online
  5. No browser
  6. HD DVD was Dying
Why I didn't buy a Wii
  1. Not so great 3rd party
  2. No HD
  3. No real online
  4. No voice chat what so ever
  5. Didn't like the untraditional controller (at the time, now I think it's pretty cool)

I participated in the CAG night which was totally awesome, everyone had a Mic which was awesome because we were all able to communicate with each other when getting trophies. If you were there than you would know what I mean with that one (motorcycle) challenge when you had to get above the bridge. If you have Burnout on the PS3, and you don't practicipate in the CAG nights, then next week you SHOULD. The game is currently a rental, but because the price is so low, I will probably buy it on Saturday. I look forward to the rest of the CAG nights with our PSN Gaming Group "crew". =P

Next! Is Resistance 2 Public Beta!

So I checked my email, and noticed that the most recent one was from PlayStation Underground. Clicked it (then show images =P) and boom "You have been accepted...." and thats all I needed to know. So I put the code in and its a 2GB download! OMG, Installing is going to take forever, hopefully it will be easier to play with friends in beta, than it was in LBP beta. So yeah, I think I'll play this on my Bravia instead of my SDTV ( as seen in my gaming setup blog post).

Home has been in development for ages, and they have this homepage that I favorite because it said it would give me more info on the beta. Unfortunatley I never got into the beta and I just watch videos and kinda stalk it the way all gamers do for a hyped game. The thing about home though, is that it isn't a game, and it is free. There you go, the one word that draws everyones attention "free". It is basically a way of interacting with your friends and accomplishments. Although to many it is just some sort of overcomplication, which may be true. I'm sure though that Sony will definitley not make it some mandatory sort of thing =P.




The other one (LittleBigPlanet) is on my list sheerly because of how innovative it is. Basically you play levels , create them , and share them. I think it is an awesome Idea and that the whole idea of creation should be used more often in games. Yes, it is true that you will see Penis levels, but they have a rating system that will surely put those to the bottom. Unless it is a really fun penis level (no I am not Gay [nor do I have anything against gay people]) Anyways, with the rating and categorizing system that will be in place, I am sure that the good/fun levels will rise to the top.

Below is a picture of my setup, Its not great but I love it regardless. Mainly because it has a PS3 and some games that can keep me busy for ages. Isn't that how it's done before game rentals existed? You would just buy a game and play it forever...When ever I get bored of a game, my older brother would aslways tell me "Joel, don't complain because when I was a kid I went through the first Mario Bro's atleast 20+ times before getting another game. Anyways, if you were wondering about the SDTV, I don't mind. I mean, its a good enough size for me and I have a 42" Bravia that I could use on weekends and such. I am happy with this TV anyways, I could even go for a newer looking SDTV! The silver ones that don't look as acient as mine does even though it was probably one of the later models to look like that, right, before they started making the new silver SDTV's. As you can see my PS3 is a 40GB Model, but as it says in my Forum Title; I upgraded it to a 250GB Hardrive and I love it!

The CAG Warhawk Anniversary was awesome, sure it was Bare Bones, but who cares... we had an awesome amount of people show up, so that made up for it. Also it was team talk only, but most of my team had Mic's and conversations were funny and cool to be a part of.

Anyways, I want to touch on that new PS3 Keypad, I am just going to come out and say my thoughts. I don't have a USB or Bluetooth keyboard, but would like to get one...I looked to this as an alternative and I'm swaying towards purchasing it. I really don't like the look of it though, do I really want something like that sticking out of my DualShock3? I think before purchasing I'm going to do a bit more research on it.

Sorry if this blog is really boring, this is the first blog I've ever had and I'm going to start practicing my blogging/writing through it.
