What does a 360 guy do when alot of his friends/coworkers start buying PS3s?

A little over a week ago while searching for a PS3 controller that was similiar to the size/feel of its 360 counterpart I discovered a slick little gadget that lets you use a wired 360 controller on your PS3. I was on it like shit on stink because I hate the tiny loose ackwardness of the PS3 pad. I do most of my gaming on the 360 so I wanted to be cumfy. 8-)

After reading reviews I purchased the XCM cross battle adapter. This black plus version supports rumble and fixed the disconnect troubles people had with the earlier version, it's not cheap though..... I paid $70 shipped via Amazon for Totalconsole.com or it's $60 + shipping directly from their website. This is about the going rate everywhere and I had Amazon GCs so I bit...

Received it friday and i've played probably a dozen games of NBA 2K9 and some CoD5 so far. It does exactly what they promised and the control is really smooth right down to the center guide button. Everything feels right as soon as you get it in your head that the X that they show on screen is actually A and not X on the controller in your hand.... LOL my first game of basketball I kept passing to the wrong guy, no biggie just be aware of the position you need to pass to, etc. After swapping the fire/zoom buttons CoD5 handled just like on the 360 except I had crappy guns since i'm a level nothing on PS3.

Also some people might like that you can flip a switch on the adapter face for each individual button enabling rapid fire. I know alot of assclowns have bought some rather expensive modded 360 controllers for rapid fire on shooters so if you are a cheater you can use this. I'll never use it but yea it's there...

Besides playing more CoD5 I still have MLB 09, Motorstorm and MGS to test it with at some point. Oh yea and i've probably gotta buy Madden AGAIN.... But based on what i've seen so far and the other reviews i've read i'll give this thing my seal of approval.

Here are the only cons i've seen or thought of so far:

- price
- needs a wired 360 controller you may not have
- no tilt
- rebuying games you already have the 360 version of just so you can play PS3 friends.... lol
- wires: not a huge deal though since the adapter wire is a little over 3' long and the 360 controller cable is a big boy as well...

Just thought i'd post this and see if anyone else cared or had used these.

*For those interested in the win money part.....buy a lotto ticket. ;)
