It was originally scheduled to be released on March 24th, 2009.

But it wasn't released. No excuses given, no reason to believe it wasn't canceled altogether.

Nearly a year passed, and I gave it little thought. Then about a week ago, Amazon tells me I should have it Feb 9th.

And here it is, can't wait to watch it:

No deep scratches, but it didn't play or install. I called a bunch of local places to see if they had a disc resurfacing machine. No luck. Wound up giving a negative to the sender, even though I felt really bad about it. He was really cool though, and accepted the feedback.

Then I read about boiling discs.

I figured what the hell, I have nothing to lose. I gave it a shot and then cleaned it with this:

This is the same kit I've had since 1996 when I bought it at Funcoland. I was somewhat sceptical, but lo and behold:

This is all the video game related shopping I did on the black friday weekend or just before. You know most of the deals, but Assassin's Creed was $7.49 at Hollywood Video after their BF discount. And no I didn't wait on The Last Remnant, so I got screwed out of $10. :cry: But the Lost Planet Colonies for $10 made up for that! :D

And a couple more from a few days before. If you can't make out the tags, House of the Dead 2 & 3 was $9.99 (new) at Record & Tape Traders and FFT was $4.98 at Target on clearance.
