Mixing up my multiplayer all week long

In an effort to not end up playing the same multiplayer game all the time , possible make some...

In an effort to not end up playing the same multiplayer game all the time , possible make some progress on my achievements/trophies and just try to get more gameplay variety , I've decided to try making a list of different multiplayer games to play every day of the week.

The basic idea is simply for each day to get it's own multiplayer game , with the weekend being originally planned for games with double XP weekends , but since there don't appear to be any of them going on or planned right now , they will just be counted as more regular days.

Now the bigger problem I'm having is simply deciding what games to play. It's not a matter of what to play on a certain day , as what to play at all. Here's a tentative list of 6 games that seemed like a good starting list:

Halo 3 (only need a few more achievements then will most likely rotate out for something else)
Call of Duty (possibly rotating between MW , MW2 , and WaW)
Gears of War (more likely 2 , since I know I'll probably never get all the achievements from 1)
M.A.G.
S.O.C.O.M. Confrontation
Battlefield : Bad Company (starting with the first then moving on to the second)

This leaves me with 1 open day. Not to mention that I can't decide whether playing some of those games is even really worth it or not (playing BC 1 now that BC2 is out , playing MW or WaW now that MW2 is out). Then there are other games that I don't know whether to add to the weekly rotation or not.

X360:
Left 4 Dead 1 or 2
Street Fighter 4
Virtua Fighter 5
I know there are plenty of other multiplayer 360 games but I don't have my collection sitting right in front of me so I can't recall any others.

PS3:
Killzone 2
Rainbow Six Vegas 1 or 2
Resistance 1 or 2
Ghostbusters
Uncharted 2
GTA 4 (don't have right now)
Bioshocked 2 (don't have right now)
Warhawk (don't have right now)

Wii:
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Mario Kart Wii
Same thing with the wii

So what I'm asking is , does this seem like a decent idea at all? , suggestions for games that would be worth adding to a potential weekly rotation , and a decent weekly rotation list to use.

As a continuation of my gamefly musings from last month , here are some more games that I managed to rent and beat from gamefly last month.

This is getting posted way later than I originally planned because I kinda forgot about it. Oh well.

:ps2:James Bond 007 : Quantum of Solace

Review Rating : 6 out of 10
Quantum of Solace for the PS2 plays a lot like Gears of War lite , instead of a FPS (like most of the other bond games). This leaves the game with a slightly fresher play experience rather than the current gen versions. Problems with the game though stem from other problems , such as annoyingly cheap bosses , somewhat frustrating stealth sequences , and a cover system that doesn't always do a very good job protecting you. It also has a major balancing issue with the levels , in regard not only to difficulty but to length as well (two missions in the middle are only like 2 minutes long , while bookend by two really long missions).

Rent or Buy? : Rent
The game is short. Clocking in at between 5-10 hours to beat on agent (easy) , the game will definitely be over in a weeked or sooner. With no mulitplayer , and no unlockable extras , the only replay value the game has is to go back and beat it on higher difficulties.

Purchase Value? : $5
Despite the lack of multiplayer , extras and short length , the game is fun , but it isn't worth that much.

:ds:Ben 10 : Defender of Earth

Review Rating : 5 out of 10
This game is a perfect example of middle of the road average. It's somewhat fun in that way that most beat-em-ups are , but its far from exceptional. The game is pretty easy , and also suffers from the major flaw of action games where they give you numerous powers to unlock and use , but only about 3 are actually necessary or useful. The boss fights in the game are also pretty easy and most can be spammed with the same basic tactics. Oddly enough they are 3 bosses in the game which are frustratingly harder than the rest. The second boss , a giant plant (hard only to to crappy hit detection) , SixSix , who is just annoying , and Vilgax , who is the only boss in the game to actually require REAL pattern memorization (which actually makes him fun to fight).

Rent or Buy? : Rent
The game is pretty short , and while it does offer some replay value in the forms of the Sumo Slammer cards hidden in every level , as well as multiple difficulties (which oddly enough didn't seem to make the game any harder) and a multiplayer mode (which I didn't try) I can't recommend this game as a purchase unless you are a HUGE Ben 10 fan.

Purchase Value? : $5
Again , while this game is somewhat fun and offers some semblance of replay value , its purely average except for the fun of replaying elements from the show.

:360:Peter Jackson's King Kong

Review Rating : 6 out of 10
In all honesty I actually kinda preferred the game of this better than the movie (still waiting on a shortened "director's cut"). While it does move along at kinda a slow pace , it does offer some interesting and fun parts (mostly involving running from a Rex or fighting as Kong). It's not a long game , but does last longer than you'd probably expect , and It's not a very challenging game either , with only a few parts being all that hard. It's nice on the achievement points too for those that care , simply beating the game should net you all 1000 points.

Rent or Buy? : If you really liked the movie , Buy , otherwise Rent
The game doesn't have a lot of replay value , most of what it includes revolves replaying stages for high scores that tally togther to unlock extras. Despite this , I'm going to go on a limb and say that if your a fan of the movie at all that this game is worth a purchase , if only because some of the suplimental material is intersting , and that it offers an alternate ending to the movie. Although the alternate ending is kinda cliche and boring , its the thought that matters.

Purchase Value : $5-10
Minimal replay value and not being a great game means that a large asking price to add to your libary is out of the question.

:360:Turok

Review Rating : 6 out of 10
I really wanted to like this game , I really did. It has great atmosphere , a somewhat cool story , and is usually fun to play. Unfortunatly many factors stop this game from being as good as it could be. The somewhat cool story barely gets explained and gets a half-baked resolution. The enemies and bosses in the game can be incredibly cheap (and that was on normal , I couldn't imagine Hardened or Inhuman). The weapons have a lack of umuf to them. Targeting enemes is often harder than it should be (especially when it comes to sniping). On the plus side , the bow and knife are extremely satisfing weapons to use. Stealth killing an enemy with the knife or pinning a guy to the wall with the bow almost makes the game worth playing alone. An achievement point warning , this game is really stingy on points , with a lot of them requiring online play , and many others forcing you to play through on Inhuman.

Rent or Buy? : Rent
I never gave the multiplayer a chance really , but assuming you can get into it , or just really enjoy challenging games/acheievements , then the game might be worth a purchase to you. For me though , the campaign was all I played , so a rental was all that was necesary.

Purchase Value : $10
The game does have nice production values , and a decent replay value (barring the above already mentioned). The $10 gamefly sale price that it went for last year seemed to be just the right price for this.

:ps2:Killzone

Review Rating : 6 out of 10
I admit right now , that this review might be a bit unfair , given how much older this game is , as well as the fact that I never got the chance to try out the multiplayer for it. That said , much like my review for Turok , while the game does have a somewhat cool story and can be fun to play at points , it suffers from its fair share of problems. Another game with lack of ummuf in the weapons , aiming problems , parts where its not always obvious where your supposed to go or what your supposed to do. On the other hand the game has a pretty decent length campaign , unfortunaly too many of the levels seem to take forever to get through. Some parts in the game are also frustratingly hard (mainly where your fighting tons of soldiers at one time).

Rent or Buy? : Buy
Outside of multiplayer , the game does have a somewhat decent amount of replay value. With 3 different difficulty levels , as well as 4 somewhat unique characters that each offer their own takes on each of the levels , allowing you some choice on whether to play the game more run and gun , stealthy , traditional or using tools and traps to your advantage.

Purchase Value : $10
Without the multiplayer being a major purchasing factor , I feel that once again , a $10 asking price seems fair for a mostly decent , challenging shooter.

And that appears to end this chapter. Hopefully the next one in this series doesn't take as long to get posted as this one did. I'd love to hear feedback (good or bad) as well as suggestions on games to check out next , ways to make the posts look better , whatever. Motivation on me continuing with these musings would be nice as well.;)

Until next time.

I have a membership to the game rental website Gamefly. This probably isn't anything strange to many fellow CAGs. What is strange is that I use my membership to rent what many people would consider to be "really average" games instead of renting the "really good" or "must play" games. This reason is 2 fold. 1 reason is that I tend to eventually buy most of the really good games anyway , so I don't really see a need to rent them first , unless its a case of wanting to play it just so that I can partake in conversations about it. The second reason is that I'm kinda strange in that I often seem to get more enjoyment out of these so called "mediocre" games , then I do out of the big name blockbuster games. This isn't to say that I like all "bad" games more than "good" games , or that I don't like any "good" games , when it happens it happens.

What I figured I might be able to do though is offer a slight service to the CAG community. Much like how the shipwrecks play some games to give you their thoughts on them on their weekly podcast , I can offer my thoughts on the games I rent from gamefly , and even mention whether the game is worth a rental or a purchase , as well as how much the game might actually be worth.

To give an idea for those wondering , here are games that are currently on my gameQ. As you may notice , not all these games are poorly rated , but most of them weren't highly rated either.

:ps2:Bond 007 : Quantum of Solace
:ds:Ben 10 : Protector of Earth

:360:Wanted : Weapons of Fate
:360:Eat Lead : The Return of Matt Hazard
:360:50 cent : Blood on the Sand
:360:Onechanbara : Bikini Samurai Squad
:360:Lord of the Rings : Conquest
:360:History Channel : Civil War - Secret Missions
:360:Fracture
:360:Kung Fu Panda
:360:Viking : Battle for Asgard
:360:The Spiderwick Chronicles
:360:Superman Returns
:ds:Tokyo Beat Down
:ds:Moon
:ds:Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ
:ds:Iron Man
:ds:Time Hollow
:ds:Sims 2 : Apartment Pets
:ds:Orcs and Elves
:ds:Power Play Pool
:ds:MySims
:ds:Spiderman 3
:ps2:Speed Racer - The Videogame
:ps2:Spiderman : Friend or Foe

This isn't all the games on my list , but it's probably 50-75% of them. How a lot of these games ended up on my list? About 1/3rd were games that I was generally interested in playing anyway (ex. Matt Hazard). 1/3rd were games that I heard decent things about (ex. Speed Racer , Viking). The other 1/3rd were games pulled from Gameflys "If you enjoyed this game you'll like this game" list (ex. Iron Man , Spiderman 3). The only real rule I've tried to impose on myself with this is that I'll try to avoid putting any game on my list that has less than 50% average rating from Metacritic/GameRankings.

As part of this service I'm also willing to take suggestions or requests of games that someone might be curious about but doesn't have the ability to try it themselves (can't download demos , can't rent them) , doesn't want to be bothered trying them first , or just wants to make me play some crap. ;)

To start things off , I'm going to overview the last 3 games that I got from Gamefly. Star Wars : The Force Unleashed , Spiderman : Web of Shadows and SimAnimals.

:ds:Spiderman : Web of Shadows

Web of Shadows for the ds is a metroidvania style game , as opposed to being a straight action/adventure title. Due to reviews being highest for the ds version , as well as the format of the game , made it seem most worthwhile for a rental.

Review Rating : 7 out of 10
The game was fun and fairly easy , but the difficulty did spike into frustration territory about twice in the game (once about halfway , again near the end). The enemies and environments in the game are kind of ugly , and suffer from all kinda looking the same. Fortunately its hard to get lost , since you always have a minimap available. Combat is kinda simple , and despite giving you lots of different moves and combos to use , it suffers from the major flaw of action games , that it offers no incentive to use anything but the most simple effective combo (in this case , basic 3 punch combo -> uppercut -> aerial bicycle kick). The game has several boss fights , which fortunately are challenging but (except for the last two) rarely annoying. The last two require a bit of pattern analyzing. The story is pretty thin , but the action keeps you wanting to play. One of the highlights of the game is the voice acting and humor. The main characters are all voice acted fairly well. Spidey himself sounds pretty good , and since you'll be hearing him a lot through his narration of the game , as well as the various one liners he has , thats a good thing. Most of his one liners are at least somewhat funny (mostly in the delivery) and fortunately (except for the combat based ones) don't repeat much if at all. The only other major fault in the game is the music , or lack therof. The music in the game is pretty generic and there is really only 3 tracks.

Rent or Buy? : Rent
This game easily qualifies as a rental over a purchase , despite the fact that it is a good game. For one thing , it only takes about 3-5 hours to beat the game (3 if you just speed through it , 5 if you try to collect everything). Not to mention that the game has minimal replay value. The only real reason to go back to it is to see the other ending (good/neutral ending and evil ending) and to try and unlock all the different abilities that spiderman can learn. Since its unlikely you'll learn/purchase them all in one playthrough.

Purchase Value? : $5-$10
Despite the game being more a rental than a purchase , if you must add it to your collection , or have a craving for spiderman things , then $5-10 seems a good price. With that price your essentially paying about $1-3 an hour of playtime , which isn't too bad.

:ds:SimAnimals

Much like spiderman , due to reviews of the ds version of SimAnimals being higher than the wii version , I figrured I'd give this one a try instead.

Review Rating : 5 out of 10
SimAnimals is both a fairly simple game and yet a very challenging one. This wouldn't be unusual or a problem , if the challenge wasn't for all the wrong reasons. In the game your put into a part of the forest and are asked to take care of it and the animals within , in a attempt to make the forest better , the animals happier and attract more of them. You can do quite a bit of things in the game , feed animals ; water plants ; plant new plants ; create new animal babies ; ect. The problem is that for one , you spend too much time taking care of the menial tasks (watering plants , planting creating animal homes) than actual interacting with the animals themselves. This problem is compacted by the fact that the animals are kinda selfish and want constant attention (feed me , give me a home , pet me) and start negitively affecting your stage rating if you meet these demands. Something else that makes things hard is that , unlike the sims , you can't queue up commands or pause the action and do multiple things at once. You can pause the game to catch a breather , but you can't do anything while paused.

Rent or Buy? : Rent if your older or have no kids , maybe Buy if you have kids
While it might seem obvious that this game is geared towards younger children , after playing it myself I'm not so sure. For older gamers that are fans of the sim genre , the game is at least worth a look , although it gets kinda boring quickly. For younger gamers , the care and handling of the animals would probably appeal to them more , yet with the frustration of taking care of chores , I wonder whether tykes might get too frustrated as well.

Purchase Value? : $5-$10
Despite my frustrations with the game , it does offer a fair bit of value , with several "levels" to play , as well as plenty of missions/objectives that you can fullfill. If you enjoyed the gameplay , the game itself will at least offer you a decent amount of things to do.

:360:Star Wars : The Force Unleashed

Not much needs to probably be said about this game. Reviews were mostly good , it sold a lot , and the demo was downloaded a ton of times. With that in mind this will probably be a bit shorter than the other two.

Review Rating : 7 out of 10
Combat is fun if not simple , although some enemies make things really annoying and kill the pacing (scout troopers , purge troopers). Boss battles are interesting , and the QTE finished duels are cool , if not cliche at this point. The Star Destroyer sequence is neat , but cheesy and a royal PITA to play. Finding all the Jedi Holocrons is annoying and pretty much requires a guide unless you literally search everywhere. Game still suffers from numerous annoying glitches.

Rent or Buy? : Buy if your a Star Wars fan , Rent otherwise
Pretty much explains itself. As a "canon" part of the Star Wars universe , as well as plenty of fanboy enjoyable content in the game , fans will get their moneys worth out of the game. For anyone else , its an enjoyable action romp , but is a bit on the short side to warrant a full purchase.

Purchase Value? : $10-$15
With 4 difficulty levels , a bunch of different lightsabers and weapon effects , several force powers and numerous combos , multiple costumes and a large database of star wars info , this game offers plenty for fans to toy around with. However , despite this , the game is still short. Even as a fan myself , anything more than $20 seems too much to pay for this game. $10-15 seems more fair.

VGM - Action Edition 1 / Alien Hominid

I've been sadly neglecting this series of posts that I was meaning to do.

Jumping back into...

I've been sadly neglecting this series of posts that I was meaning to do.

Jumping back into things with a game that I recently repurchased on sale from XBLA , we have The Behemoths first game , Alien Hominid. Although the soundtrack in this game isn't quite as good as the soundtrack that would be crafted for Castle Crashers , its still quite a decent list of good songs to be found.

For your full listening pleasure , you can find the complete soundtrack from the game here:
http://www.youtube.com/view_play_lis...17B8A7A63D8B58

Narrowing down the list for this game was hard. Not because all the songs were top notch. Actually it was the opposite problem. Most of the songs in the game are good songs in the game but outside the game they don't necessarily make for good listening. Finding the ones that were took a bit more thought.

As a minor suggestion , if you can set the songs to loop (can't remember if youtube lets you do this or not) I'd recommend it , since most of them are pretty short. Alternatively you can simply download the songs and play/loop them at your leisure.

1.Main Theme

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ea4Fn...3D8B58&index=0

First up we have the title track. Nothing mind blowing but catchy enough to get you ready to play the game.

2.Urban 1-3

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmecO...3D8B58&index=6

Music from World 1-3. With a bit of a techno slant , this is probably my favorite stage music from the first world.

3.Russia 2-3

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wk-JX...D8B58&index=16

Whether coincidence or not , the music from World 2-3 is probably my favorite music from the Russia series of stages.

4.Area 51 3-2

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rdg6...D8B58&index=24

Although not as good as the best world musics from Worlds 1 and 2 , the World 3-2 music is still kinda catchy.

5.Final Boss

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3nTo...D8B58&index=27

Can't have one of these lists without including at least one boss music , and in this case , the final boss music of the game is probably the most adrenaline pumping boss music in the game.

6.End

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4dqi...D8B58&index=28

The end credits music for the game is surprisingly kinda joyful. From such a violent (although also comedic) game you might not expect that.

So that's it for this edition. Kinda of a short one , but maybe that will give me the motivation to start doing these more regularly like I want to.

As with before , I'm always looking for suggestions of games to highlight the music from , so if you've got one , send it my way. Also if anyone has any suggestions of ways I could improve my series of VGM blog posts feel free to mention that as well.

One other thing , if anyone has a link (youtube or otherwise) to the music thats played during the PDA mini-games I would love to have it. I couldn't find a youtube video that had the music in it.

Well its been a few weeks and while work and things around the house have been keeping me busy , I've finally found time to post the next volume of my Video Game Music series. This time I decided to tackle a genre that usually isn't the first on peoples minds when it comes to game music , FPS. In particular I picked the original Halo.

Halo's soundtrack was pretty good , carrying a good balance between strong ambient tracks that fit perfectly in the background and set the mood , and adrenaline pumping music to keep the fire fights tense. I've picked 7 tracks here (3 background style tracks and 4 adrenaline tracks) that to me are the strongest and most memorable of the game.

First off the Background Tracks:

1. The Maw

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUF17...E779FE&index=6

Starting off short and simple , this track as you probably know just by the title , is the opening track played in the last level of the game (The Maw).
Being only about a 1:00 and featuring the infamous "Halo Monks" , this track helps sets the stage for the final fight to destroy Halo.

2. Under Cover of Night

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSqm5...779FE&index=12

This track , played twice in the game (once in Truth and Reconciliation and again in Two Betrayals) fits both stages well for two different reasons. For TaR , it gives the feeling of a small group sneaking up and attacking an unsuspecting enemy. In Two Betrayals , it has that element of cold and desolation that fits the dark snowy landscape of the control room region.

3. Halo

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6JK3...779FE&index=23

And of course , you can't talk about Halo music without bringing about the main theme anthem of the game. Starting out with the infamous "Halo Monks" , then rolling into a pumping action charge (also known as "Warthog Run" , although that version is slightly different) , throwing out the monks again , before ending with a slightly sad piano piece.

Now for the Adrenaline Tracks:

4. Brothers in Arms

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbkQ99OxQJU&NR=1

Also known as "The Dropship Fall" from the end of the first stage , Pillar of Autumn. This song pops up numerous times throughout the game , usually when marines show up to help , or need help (Hence the title).

5. Perilous Journey

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H20Ok...779FE&index=17

Just a solid energy track. Shows up at several stages in the game (Pillar of Autumn , Truth and Reconciliation , Assault on the Control Room).

6. Covenant Dance

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fPFt...E779FE&index=9

This is like two good short songs rolled into one. Starting off with an energetic variation of the "Halo monks" bit , then at around 0:50 , rolls into a techno style piece before finishing off with the monks again.

7. Truth and Reconciliation Suite

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uta7u...779FE&index=20

Alright , the finale. This one is kinda cheating since its really more like 3 or 4 of the other tracks rolled into one long 8 minute ones. Starting with the TaR theme , then goes into the "Warthog Run" (played at the end of The Maw) , then goes into a variation of the Flood theme , then ends with a variation of the Halo anthem.

Well that's all I have for this time. As with before , feel free to make suggestions on what game or kind of game you'd like to see me do one of these posts for , and hopefully there won't be such a gap between this one and the next one.

So I haven't done a whole lot with my blog as I said I was going to do. Now however I finally feel like I have something worth posting and talking about.

After some recent discussion in the GGT:
http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/...postcount=7587

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/...postcount=7595

As well as bringing it up myself in my original blog post:
http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/blog.php?b=513

I've decided to do a series of posts dedicated to showing and talking about videogame music that I like. The plan here is to pick about 5 songs from each game (could be more or less for each but I'm trying to aim for an average amount) , post a youtube link to the song , then do a brief post about said song. For future volumes I offer fellow CAGs the chance to decide what genre of music I should pick a game from next (more on that at the end of the blog post). For now though , I'll talk about one of my favorite PS1 RPGs , Xenogears.

1.Graaf , Emperor of Darkness
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tz4OU...491D1&index=12

Whether you see him or not , whenever you hear this music start to play you know bad things are going to happen. From his first apperance he's one of the leading things that pushes Fei forward on his unwilling path of destruction. I especially like the sound at 1:45 (whatever that would be considered).

2.Awakening
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JBn6...491D1&index=40

It's the "last boss" music (those who've played the game know what I'm talking about). Not much else to say other than it gets the energy going for the final battle against "god".

3.Tears of the Stars , Hearts of the People
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_45xN...491D1&index=32

The required sad music. Xenogears has quite a bit of it , but this is one of the better ones I think.

4.Gathering Stars in the Night Sky
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2p7cG...491D1&index=31

A more dramatic/romantic/sad version of one of my other favorite tracks , Flight.

5.The One who is Torn Apart
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tD25_...491D1&index=37

Another depressing track in the game. The electronic touch of this one is really nice. The title and the track itself go perfectly along with the character it represents.

6.Small Two of Pieces - Restrored Pieces
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40A8_...491D1&index=43

It had been a while so I had actually kinda forgotten about this one , but after re-listening to it I'm reminded of what a good ending music track it is.

7.Flight
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxAzu...491D1&index=33

One of my original favorite tracks in the game. I don't see how you can't like this one the first time you hear it. It's just so full of energy.

8.Omen
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2fIJ...491D1&index=39

Final Dungeon music. Again perfectly fitting for the area your going through.

So there we are. My first (in hopefully a nice long series) of blog posts dedicated to excellent video game music. As mentioned near the beginning of this post , if you'd like to help me decide what game genre I should tackle for my next volume , either post here or send me a pm. RPGs (of course) , Shooters , Action games , Racers (maybe?) and maybe others will be covered. Feel free to make other genre choices not mentioned here , as well as individual game recommendations. Although take note that I can only recommend from what I have played and listened to.

Writing a story , Help me decide on the main characters!

Alright everyone , I need some help. I'm currently working on a story , and I need some help with the main characters. More specfically I need help determining there genders. It may not seem like a hard thing to decide , but considering some of the plot elements and other factors in the story , it's like "should I just go with the cliche idea or should I go with the shocking , surprise idea". So I'm going to ask a few questions. You can either answer them here , or you can PM me your answers if for whatever reason your not confortable leaving your answers open to everyone. I'm trying to make this like a game , so don't take it all too seriously.

1.First off we have the heroes and the villians. I'm thinking the heroes will be a group of 3-5 people , the villians a group of 6-9 people. Just for a background sense. Now should the "leaders" of the heroes/villians be male or female? They CAN both be male or they can both be female , they don't HAVE to be opposite. Also , they may not be the ONLY male/female in there respective group. Please leave the answer in the form of "heroes gender/villians gender".

Now for the remainder of the questions , I'm going to be asking some what if questions that I want to know whether they would alter your answer to the original question. These questions are asked independently of each other. If you wouldn't change anything you can simply say "no change".

2.What if the story had psuedo relgious/christian refrences or background elements to it , such as angels , halos , divine power , ect. Would you change your original answer?

3.What if the "villians" were , in fact, not evil or bad at all and were actually doing everything to defend the people and the "world" itself from being destroyed. In other words , the "villians" are almost are purely good as the "heores" are. Would you change your original answer?

4.What if the leader of the heroes made the decision that the only way to save the "world" and the people in it , was to commit mass murder and extermination , up to and including innocent men , women and childeren , the heroes own friends and allies , and of course the "villians". Would this make you change your original answer?

5.Lastly , assume that questions 2 , 3, and 4 were all true. Would this change your original answer?

Bonus Questions:

*What if the characters of the world fought with "modern weapons" , such as guns , grenades , bumbs , ect. Would this change your original answer?

*What if the characters of the world fought with "classic weapons" , such as swords , axes , spears , ect. Would this change your original answer?

Most incite and opinions are welcome , and if anyone has any questions feel free to leave them here or send me a pm.

Well here we are with CAG 2.0. After having the chance to finally go through the new features and check everything out , I have to say I like it. Although the new visual look will take some getting used to.

One of the features I've been really looking forward to is the blogging feature. I've never really done it before , despite being a member of other sites that have the feature as well , but I never felt a need to use it. I guess because I figured no one would read it so whats the point. Well now I can write stuff that still probably won't get read , but have a more sizable audience that might at least glance at it.

I've been trying to decide what all I should write about , and I have plenty of topics going through my head:
1.Game Reviews and what I'm currently playing.
2.Movie Reviews and what I've been watching or planning on watching.
3.Book Reviews and what I've been reading.
4.Sports and Wrestling
5.T.V. and Anime
6.Video Game Soundtracks and general music discussion
7.F.A.Q. writing , since I've been wanting to write some FAQs for some games but never could decide what games to do , or have the motivation to actually write them.

That's all I can think of at the moment , but that's already plenty of topics at hand. If anyone has an opinion on what they might like to hear me talk about , whether its something I listed or something else entirely , feel free to leave a comment or send me a pm. Otherwise I'll just start writing and everyone can procede to continue ignoring me.;)
