It's ok if you don't want to participate in the group. However, there is no need to LIE about not agreeing to it. Grow a sack and just write you had a change of feelings. I would not have posted anything if everyone in the group had not agreed to do so. You shouldn't LIE. It makes others, me in this case, look untrustworthy and puts their integrity in question.
