Used the 30% trade-in on select title promo for everything except the PSP system. Manager told me it only works on games and showed me the Epic Mickey 2 flier that specifically said games. I showed him the website ad

Did the PSP system trade-in on a separate transaction and put the credit on my rewards card. Then I got Borderlands 2 (pictured in the 30% promo) and still had $34 left. Manager wouldn't let me out the door without putting it on a pre-order.
Me: Can't we just put the rest on the card?
Manager: I would if it was a dollar or two, but that's too much.
Me: Ok, well I'll just return it. I guess I'll pre-order uh.. the zombie game for Wii U.. Zombie U?
Manager: The reason you're getting this much is because of the promo and you have to pre-order and come pick it up.
