PS: Sony released their second quarter results. That should tell you a lot about their overall situation.

I'm inclined to say, No, don't go, this is an inclusive community! (and if there's an inner circle, I'm not part of it >.<). That last bit you threw in leaves a sour taste; For starters, they banded the PSP and Vita together (which is a rubbish idea in my opinion, they should have predictions for each), and reduced the prediction by 2 million. So, what does that say? That the PSP is finally dead? Probably. That the Vita isn't moving units? Probably. That the Vita is a terrible platform? Absolutely not. Sales numbers, and the quality of the experience offered by the platform, have very little correlation. Dreamcast?

I get sick of hearing stuff like that. And there's no inner circle with all of us, there are plenty of us in here that own multiple consoles(like me) that doesn't like one over the other(again, like me), and that can admit to both strengths and weaknesses of both sides(be it hardware, software or network related).
It's a good console. It has good games. So does just about every other console ever made. No reason to get all butthurt because some people like it a lot.

Agreed on all points. OH! EXCEPT THE VITA IS PERFECT. You know, other that being stupid bulky, and having a (mostly) annoying back touch pad, and terrible UI, and...

Getting more people to buy Vitas is simple:
1) lower entry price [as in sub-$200]
2) increase the included memory card size to at least 64GB [oh sorry, 32GB is the current limit?! LOL!] what a joke!
Viola! Then, we have a winner.

Yes and yes. Especially memory. Games are too big for these tiny cards. -.-
