How I do lose in game money in Borderlands 2? I just lost $250,000 while fighting bar room blitz at Pyro Pete's bar. Went from 320,00 down to 70,000, and I even saw a red negative 52,000 flash on screen but I have no idea what I did wrong :/

Edit: I just read about some rat thief guys that steal, but if they can take $250k in one bar fight then thats one cheap ass tactic. Also when I killed them I should have got my money back but I didn't.
