I've actually started doing the note thing, but we really shouldn't have to. It annoys me that a faq like this even needs to exist for Amazon's trade-in program. After we got our hands collectively slapped during the retro game trade-in massacre of 2012 we had evidence that at least
someone at Amazon is aware of this thread. I wish they would drop in when they aren't getting their clocks cleaned and actually address the remaining consumer facing problems in the program.
