I contacted Amazon's customer service about my 3DS trade-in. The solution they offered was that I resubmit it, and they'll be sure to take a look at it this time. Of course they will, and they'll give me $86 for my trouble.
I told them it was down to $86, and that I didn't have confidence in them even if they let me submit it for $122. Nothing would prevent them from simply opening the box, deny it without looking at it, and then send it back to me again. I'm not about to risk getting it damaged in shipping when I'm almost guaranteed to get nothing.
