Not trying to come in to be a downer, but I've been following the thread just to see how the offseason would go. And man, it doesn't look like EA made that very easy on you guys either. We all knew that the draft wasn't live (though I still don't understand why they couldn't pull that off...Madden has had it for years). But NHL 13's interface just sounds so clunky. Draft boards resetting, not being able to see who was drafted...how in the hell did they think that was good enough for an online franchise?

I can only hope that they figure out a way to polish this stuff for NHL 14...but an interesting point was raised while we were playing club in NHL 12 last night, with the new consoles slated to come out next year, you have to wonder how much effort EA is really going to invest in a sports game that comes out 2 months before the new systems launch. I could definitely see the game actually being what a lot of people think sports games are anyway....a $60 roster update. Although, at the rate they're going...the NHL might not exist by that point anyway, lol.
