I believe his point is that Syndicate (the FPS) has been $5 multiple times before, so it's a bit strange to see the new excitement over it. I bit on it for $5 months back (mostly to see the visuals).

It's *nothing* like Syndicate (the Real-Time Tactical Bullfrog classic).
