I usually have to find places that are like 30 miles away for a somewhat decent deal, and at which point it's not really worth it spending all that time and money on gas to get to the seller.

Yeah, that's pretty far to go unless it's an amazing deal. Besides gas, it sucks if you travel to another city and are given a broken game(s).
