I'll vouch for the black-series as well. I use the green drives for backup and movie storage since my TV will play them directly off of it, and black for regular use. They've been very reliable for me so far. SSD is by far the way to go for booting up and editing programs though, as well as loading intensive games if you've got the extra GB's to spare.
