As lame as this is, Pokemon games are usually at their cheapest when they launch. That is to say, the prices never drop more than a buck or two, if that, but like most other games they go up a little bit on Ebay/Craigslist once they stop printing them.

Nintendo really needs to rethink this policy of not letting their games get cheaper. That was one of the main factors that drove me to the PS3 this gen (why pay $50 for Galaxy when that same $50 can get me both Bioshocks, both Arkham Games, and the 1st Dead Space!?).
