The word you guys are looking for is "Par". Wombat, AKA Mr. Aspergers, is hung up on the literal meaning of "Average". Cheapy is playing loosely with it, same as, well, everyone else reviewing games. Mediocre is FAR too pejorative and dismissive. "Par" describes that the game delivers the minimum of what should be expected given the current field, no more, no less. No, I don't play golf, I just know stuff.
