Placed some bids on my lowball auction, wanted them retracted due to shipping costs. I warn him that he should have read the rules but allow the retraction. He was more concerned with proving that placing faulty bids was not a serious offence rather than appologizing and agreeing not to do it to other CAGs.

That's not cool. I'll have to black list you for that but yes you may cancel I can't force you to pay. That is a *serious offense*. It wouldn't be bad if you only submitted 1 or 2 bids but you have a pretty good running total. I'm not trying to be mean but you have to understand the work I put into this...
As for the shipping rules they're pretty standard, over 13 oz and you get into $7-12 shipping, basically $1-2 per game... Unless you're in another country then you should always be reading the shipping rules first.
So cancel if you want but your reputation won't be very good.

Since I'm pretty sure I'll be outbid on God of War and I've already been outbid in everything else, I'll keep my bids then, and yeah, I live in America, probably should have read those shipping rules. dv8 has given me the name of a mod who will check the situation and apply proper consequences, no I have not done anything yet. I find it serious because of the time I spent on those particular items from updating the bids. Like anything you bid on in this forum, take it seriously because you will get blacklisted.
Overall, don't do it again.

What are they going for on eBay nowadays? I have a supplier that sells computer parts, so I hardly look on eBay for them.
Also, do you have a price on the 500GB? Is that a 2.5" drive or a 3.5"? I'm just planning on taking these guys out of the external cases and putting it inside my desktop PC. |

First of all it's me who would be spending the time, all you have to do is pay and open the box. I actually have to pack and pay for shipping. So no. No thanks.
As for the 500gb, it's an EXTERNAL. If you read the post EXTERNAL means it is in an enclosure. As for the adapter, what makes you think I even have one of those? Nevermind. Don't answer that.

No need to get hostile. I'm not going to buy something as important as a 1TB hard drive from some random joe unless it's at a good price. Otherwise, I'm just better off at TigerDirect or MicroCenter, where I know it hasn't been tampered with. Asking for $25 off because it's already been handled is completely reasonable. Besides, had you acted in a slightly more mature manner, I probably would have been open to paying a fairer price.
I read the post, and I already told you I was just going to take it out anyway. So maybe you're the one that needs to read properly. And as for the adapters, they're everywhere in one form or another, so I don't know how you can consider yourself a successful seller and have no clue where to aquire one. |

The drive is Brand New OEM. As stated in the auction. You are the one misreading everything. First the Wii Fit, now you accuse my new items of being handled. No where did you state that you were taking it out, it is implied from "putting it in your desktop" but not stated. You void all warranties if you pull the drive out so that would just be stupid. I know what they are and how to get one, but what makes you think I have it for sale, or have it at all?!
Protip: Don't go into people's threads asking for things not listed. It defeats the purpose of a list.

The light gun could not be tested due to the LCD screen but since everything else works fine, I see no reason why it would not work. Only one controller was tested.
Disclaimer:
Although I tested it working please note it is a 24 year old game console and has been in storage for a very long time. There were chemical reactions with the insulation plastic with the cords touching the Styrofoam. Here's an enhanced picture to show what I mean.
This should be readily visible with the pictures I took but just in case, look again. The plastic literally cut into the foam and there are some sticky chemicals I have not cleaned off for fear of causing any kind of damage. It is cosmetic but the buyer should address it ASAP. Also it is important to note that there is some kind of adhesive on the bottom of the "A/V" cable adapter. I have not removed that either but did attach a note card to prevent it from sticking to anything else.
Also note this is a Sega America refurbished system (as seen in the pictures). I have not in any way opened the console to make repairs, Sega has done all of that.
It will be sold as-is, shipped inside another box, additional padding will go inside and outside the console. What you see is what you get. I don't know what more I can write to show you the condition so just ask questions.
This is probably the best condition Master System CAG will see in a while so be nice. Let me know of any offers but hoping to find some kind of Wii trade. Thanks!
