Ok, I thought this site seemed questionable. Now I'm
sure of it.
They contacted me yesterday asking whether I'd received my game yet (I hadn't), because they had no record of it having been shipped. I responded that I had not received it. I thought at the time that it was pretty cool that they followed up like that. But then today I got the following message (bolding mine), which completely turned my opinion around:
So... I don't get my game but
I have to pay for the shipping? When they can't provide me with any proof that it ever even
was shipped? It's
my responsibility if
their seller craps out? The refund hasn't shown up on my credit card yet, so I'm not clear on whether they took the "shipping" out of the coupon that I used, or out of the part that I paid (so, don't know whether I actually ended up paying anything or not in this case), but regardless... next time around, I won't necessarily
have a coupon if this happens. So there won't
be a next time.
