There is nothing hard to understand but then you are expecting the seller to pay these costs out of their own pocket in hopes that the buyer reimburses them.

If the seller and a buyer dispute about whether or not something "should" have cost this much or that much, the seller could be SOL on shipping charges which isn't fair.

ALL lowball auctions (or at least, any that you should consider bidding on) have an explicit disclaimer about shipping costs. If you don't like it don't bid. It's a pretty simple concept.

If I had everything on my page listed for a penny but with massive shipping charges, no one would go for it because they would see that. It's up to the seller to create a situation where the buyer wants to buy.

And...judging by the responses here...dv8 and the other sellers have a pretty fair set-up where people are interested in bidding despite the flat rate shipping cost.

And again, if you don't like it, feel free to take your bidding elsewhere.
