As i said, i have a droid x accessible at all times, my brother has one. The rubber coating is very cheap in comparison to the one the Incredible, as are the buttons which really feel poor in quality. The incredible also has Gorilla Glass.

Camera wise, the Droid X shows how things are correctly. the Incredible and iPhone 4 have too much bloom and are over saturated.

This is hilarious. Really, its sad.

They have the same GHz amount with their processors but they are different. The Droid X's TI OMAP 3630 is actually better than the Snapdragon (slightly faster).
The CPU is faster on the X, but the Snapdragon on the Incredible is similar to the Nexus One, which is the Official Google phone. Meaning the OS is being built around that processor, which means the best support and compatibility vs a one off CPU in a Motorola. The tiny difference in real world will mean less then you think.

Most poeple go for the Incredible cause it looks like a iPhone. To most, the Droid X is too big, but once they get use to it, they can never go back (guilty of this one).
Yah, no one would go for the incredible for the AMOLED screen, the form factor (fits nicer in your hand), the better touch screen, the Snapdragon processor thats in the official google phone, the better camera, etc etc. Nope, its because it looks like an Iphone.
pssst. Here is a hint. It doesn't look like an iphone. Smartphones are going to look like this from here on out, look at the Evo 4G for more evidence.

the only thing, imo, that the Incredible has over the Droid X is Android 2.2 and the ability to flash custom roms. But once that is solved for the X, the X is the better choice
Considering the Milestone has not been cracked (and the phone has been out for over 7 months with people trying to crack it this entire time), and the X has a even STRONGER protection then the Milestone, i would not hold your breath. Best get used to Motoblur. I have a custom 2.2 rom flashed on my incredible.

Motorola has crappy touch screens? ok

Ok indeed. Go watch this:

The X uses a similar touch screen to the old droid 1. Its not the TouchMAX Capacitive that the Incredible/Evo 4G have which is basically the best in the business.

Bottomline it comes down to preference. Do you want an android iPhone look-alike? or do you want a bigger beast? Honesty, the Droid X is a beast of a phone, it is just getting held back by Motoblur. I've had the lucky chance to play with a prototype Droid X with a vanilla rom, and it is a beast!
There is so much bias here its a bit insane. Droid X is a fine phone, but its not perfect, nowhere even near perfect. It has many major flaws. Every phone does. To me, personally, the incredible has more going for it then the X. The 4.3" is nice, but theres a lot more to a phone then screen size. And Droid X with vanilla isnt possible, so who cares.

if you got Sprint get the Evo. if Verizon then the Droid X. if you want a iPhone look-alike or want a smaller but good phone, then go for the Incredible

LOL.
