Even though we already knew this was in the works,
GSC has officially declared it for a 2012 release (just in time for the RL end of the world). No information about the actual game was given, but I'm hopeful this means the MP portion will see a major revamp and be good this time. Like Crysis 2, the official sequel will be multi-platform and I have faith in GSC to not consolize the game. I fully expect the PC version to be superior in every aspect.
