No, the story was fine. Maybe it's because I don't play a lot of RPGs, but I felt completely lost. I got only as far as when you first leave the Citadel. Had no idea where to go, or what to do, tried a few planets at random, got slaughtered over and over again, and put the game aside. I was also very confused by the weapon leveling-up/inventory system.
