I also bought Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (used) and it came with an online code on the receipt. Redeemed it and it was legit; I got a free online code. This also happened to me when I bought Batman: Arkham City (used) from GS.

Can you wait a couple of weeks after games have been released, snatch an used copy, and get a free online code in the receipt? Is it only for certain games? Anyone know why?
