He said he junked it, but he clearly threw at least ten that I saw in each start. So I'm not sure what's up with that.
Looked up his Pitchf/x, says he's thrown his slider more than 20% of the time. Fangraphs has those sliders marked down as changeups, and whatever that pitch is, it's getting destroyed.
