Does it seem like this thing is going to force other "name" manufacturers (Samsung, etc) to get more affordable with their tablets? I really don't know a damn thing about Android tablets in general, but I looked at the Galaxy Tab 2 and it's around the same price for the same screen size (albeit at a lesser resolution) and allows you to use microSD cards, but the base amount of space you get (less than 5GB after bloatware) is pretty weak and the hardware itself doesn't quite stack up power-wise.
