Thanks, will look into this further, APR isn't really a concern for me, but I really need to read this carefully to make sure there is no hidden fees.

Like I posted, good info here from a few different CAGs who have signed up for this. (Starts on post 7535)

I'd assume most CAGs are like me and pay off their credit card at least once a month. Maybe I'm mistaken though.

I was denied even though I have perfect credit, thousands in my checking account and no rent. I guess because I'm technically a student I was denied. Only reason I can think off since my yearly salary isn't that high and I chose student as employment.

Maybe I'll have my gf sign up since she has a much better chance of being approved since she is employed full time.

I'd like to get this since I've been getting a lot of stuff of PSN via gameshares.

Anyone know how long it takes to get the card once you're approved?

I've been receiving requests to fund PSN gameshares. I am happy to help out fellow CAGs as long as you have the account and email pre set up and have payment ready and are patient.

Perfect credit as in NO credit? Having no credit is just as bad as having bad credit. Coupled with the fact that you don't have a job.

I was denied as well. I don't really need another card, I just wanted the awesome perks. Whatever, lol.

My score was 687 pre-application. (Hey, I'm a student, cut me some slack. Never a late payment!.) Approved!

Great timing since I have the AC3 Liberation Chrystal White Vita pre ordered. Will get it October 30th with PS+ for Vita starting november.

hmm so do you just need to make one purchase with the card like a psn game or do you have to spend a couple hundred to get the perks?

As far as I know, there's no minimum purchase.

It's not necessarily based on your credit score. It could be that you already have other credit cards and lines of credit or a high debt to credit capacity ratio or insufficient credit history. Basically, it's all a mathematical formula that takes your income, credit lines, balances, etc...and spits out a decision based on that.

Thanks Susie! j/k I got the sony card with a $200 credit a couple years back. I bought a starbucks coffee and was credited 20,000 pts 2 months later. I recently got a $40 camo DS3 controller and will probably use the rest on that Sony 3d monitor. My credit sucked balls when I applied, although I had no revolving debt, but they still gave me a card.

I just got accepted for an REI card last month. It's a free $100 credit after your first purchase. I put a dollar on my Bestbuy pitch in card as my purchase!

The APR is 0% until June 2013, which is excellent; afterwards, they go up to the same rate as about every other major credit card these days.

Capital One was my first card. I've had it for about a year and a half now. I've never had any problems. Never had to contact them, so I'm not sure how that is.

I was lucky enough to get approved. Guess this will be my designated PSN card. 10% back is a nice deal on top of the free 50 and year of plus.

I always gotten instant denial or instant approval.

wtf...?
Notification of approval status will be typically sent in 7 to 10 business days; however, in certain circumstances it may take up to 15 days.

Free year of PS+ and $50 for PSN...no annual fee...sure...why not. I was approved. Crappy APRs but I plan on paying the balance every month anyway so who cares. This will be my dedicated PSN account card. Don't really have a need for it but they are basically giving away PS+ and $50 in PSN credit if you don't mind the hit to your credit score. I already bought my house and I don't need a car anytime soon so why not.
