I bought:

MLB Bobblehead Pros (800) on 8/17
Golf: Tee It Up (400) on 8/29
3D MiniGolf (400) on 8/29 [and of course it's on sale for 200 this week! )

I'm still gonna wait a few days before I contact them, but if you want to contact them now you would want to post a message in the Xbox Rewards Forum on Xbox.com.

I gave them their 96 hours and then posted in the forum. they're really responsive in the forum especially if you're cordial. don't be like a lot of crazies in the forum who are practically demanding that rewards support fix any problem ASAP.

Still no points pending, nor is my September survey pending. My post from Friday still hasn't been answered, but a lot of more recent posts have been. I need to bump mine to make sure they see it I guess, tried but Xbox.com won't let me sign in at the moment.

This will be the last time I partake in these rewards, unless it's just the 5% back on all purchases or something like that. This has been a little bit too much of a headache to save $3.

To clarify, this seems to be the rollout of the Achievement-based rewards announced earlier this year. I can't look up the Gamerscore requirements right now but bottom tier gets you a "gift" during your birthday month, midtier gets you the gift plus 1% back on all Marketplace purchases, and top tier gets you the gift plus 2% back. Not bad at all.

If you have a bday in October please share what "special gift" MS throws your way. Man MS is cheap as hell, only 2% back, WTF?

* Birthday Gift (approximate retail value ("ARV"): $0.25 USD)

yeah, disappointed in the big reveal, but something is better than nothing and hopefully they'll improve.

October offer is revealed:
Quote:
October Featured Marketplace Offer

What is the October Featured Marketplace Offer?
A. During the month of October, spend 2,000 Microsoft Points or more on eligible horror themed Xbox LIVE Marketplace items and get 300 Microsoft Points back. Purchase(s) must occur between October 1, 2012 and October 31, 2012.
Who is eligible for the offer?
A. All Xbox LIVE Rewards members are eligible for the offer. Xbox LIVE Rewards members are only eligible to receive this Reward once during the month of October 2012.
What horror related Marketplace items qualify for this offer?
A. Horror related Zune movies, TV shows, Avatar items, Game Add-ons, Themes, Games on Demand, or Arcade Games. Eligible movie content can be found here. Eligible games are horror-themed, like Left 4 Dead 2, Resident Evil 5, or The Walking Dead, and any Avatar items, Game Add-ons or Themes that go with them. Movies and TV Shows must be purchased from Zune Video; purchases from other apps will not qualify. If you aren't sure if an item qualifies for this offer, please make a new post in our support forums.
When will I receive my 300 Microsoft Points?
A. All eligible Xbox LIVE Marketplace purchases will be calculated daily. Rewards Points will be posted under Pending on the Xbox LIVE Rewards site within 96 hours of meeting the offer requirements. Points will then be deposited to your Xbox LIVE account by November 15, 2012.
I purchased more than one eligible item and they add up to 2,000 Microsoft Points. Does that count?
A. Yes, as long as you purchase eligible items between 1 October and 31 October 2012 and they total up to at least 2,000 Microsoft Points.

So spend $25.00, get $3.75 back? Eh. Probably good for people buying a RE6 season pass kind of thing.

So you only get 2% off of 1 purchase a month?

I don't know where you're seeing the 1 purchase thing. You get 2% back on everything you buy every month. If you spend 4,000 MSP in October, you get 80 MSP back. If you spend 800 the next month, you get 16 MSP back.

Its too bad this only took effect on September 27th. I've spent about 50k in MS points in the past six months.

Geez. Guess it's time to splurge on the sale this week. I did mention before that Microsoft/XBox is the Gamestop of digital sales, rewards, and offers. Major Nelson and the XBox Rewards teams are puppets of whoever pull the strings.
