Treat each page like a folder. Is there still a cap on the number of pages you can do?

^ THIS!

Also, when browsing the things I've purchased on PSN, STOP SHOWING ME STUFF I CAN'T DOWNLOAD like my PS3 games, themes, etc. I also want to be able to sort by content type (Vita games, PSP games, PS1 games, Minis) so I can quickly find the game I'm looking for.

The current PSN UI for finding purchased content is beyond stupid and shows a massive laziness and disregard for the user experience. Obviously nobody at Sony working on this stuff actually uses any of it themselves.

Yes, 100 items (= 10 pages). Relatively easy to fill up with Mini's and shortcuts for card-based games, especially if you have a 32GB card. Swiping up and down several times is far less efficient than the 2 or 3 taps you'd need if you had folders.

And re-organizing the icons? Don't even get me started on how much that sucks.

What the hell happened to the Silent Hill co-op beat em up that was coming out? The fact that one one is saying anything at all about it, the delay, and the current track record for Silent Hill games makes it seem like a disaster waiting to happen. Which is a shame, because I thought this could have worked in its own way on Vita.

So I don't know if I'm losing my hearing but does anyone think the volume level on the Vita is low? I've tried some headphones and ear buds and it seems like I need to have the volume near max to get satisfactory volume. I noticed something similar with the 3DS XL.

umm
I have no problem with it.

I play on 75% ~ 80% volume normally

and i believe vita's speaker and sound system is at least 130% louder than psp's

Did you turn on AVLS in the settings? That limits the volume with headphones.

I agree with the speakers sounding low. My PSP 1000 is louder.

Well, I was extremely skeptical about this game initially as well. It sounded to me like they had taken a different game and slapped a Silent Hill coat of paint on it.

That might still be the case, but my interest jumped up quite a few notches when I heard who was developing it. WayForward is developing this game, and I freaking love WayForward. They've made so many great games over the past six-seven years that I pretty much give them a free pass at this point. It's also worth noting that WayForward has a stellar track record for taking other peoples' IP and working wonders with it. They've done it with A Boy and His Blob, Contra, Double Dragon, and Bloodrayne. I don't see any reason why they can't do the same with Silent Hill.

Now that I have a Vita, I'm seriously considering picking up Book of Memories.

Quote:
Role-playing on the go! Today, eastasiasoft—the Hong Kong–based developer and publisher of interactive entertainment—and developer SideQuest Studios announced that their recently released role-playing hit Rainbow Moon is heading to the PlayStation®Vita system in 2013.

“We've been asked this question many times, so I'm very happy to finally announce that we will bring Rainbow Moon to the PS®Vita,” said Marcus Pukropski, CEO of SideQuest Studios. “All the feedback that we have received for Rainbow Moon during the last few months has been tremendous, and I hope that today's announcement will make a lot of PS®Vita owners and Rainbow Moon fans happy.”

I agree, its lazy to say the least. Why the flying dunkin donut can't they add a freaking "sort by" button at the very least in my downloads list? Or....HOLY CRAP write this down, its golden....A FREAKING SEARCH FUNCTION!

It looks like the Vita PS Store is starting to include screenshots on game pages, which show up below the ratings and ESRB info and are clickable to see bigger pictures.

Just played through the Silent Hill demo.

You know, it isn't half bad. In fact, It's kind of good. Seems like a kooky dungeon crawler that is good in small doses. Definitely try it out before you knock it. I think I'll be picking this up at release, burn up some GS credit.
