Way, way, WAY too expensive for me. I might have considered it at $99.99, but not at $149.99. :/

I just realized, though, that I don't think Konami officially released the price point for the LE, so this price could be a guess on Amazon's part. /wishfulthinking

I'd have to agree. I love Metal Gear and Platinum Games, but I don't see $150 worth of value in this.

That's an expensive bastard of a game. Had it been a real metal gear solid, and come with better swag.. I might bite.

Not a chance I will bite at this. I usually only do LEs on MGS games, but not doing this for a side game in the series at that price. However, I believe this will still sell..just not to CAGs.

Yeah, I just did the same. It's so easy to cancel Amazon preorders and you don't pay anything up front, so it's not like I'm committing to anything just yet.

If it doesn't lower to $79.99 (the most practical price point I can assign to this LE unless the lamp is more than 6 inches tall), then I'll cancel.

Boy, this makes the ZoE HD Collection CE look like a steal by comparison.

Those waiting for a price drop won't get it because anything Kojima sells out quick and very limited. I'd definately preorder it and slowly pay it off at your local Gamestop. Metal Gear collector editions always hold their value and increase over time. Look at the MGS3 Subsistance LE...that thing goes for $150+ on Ebay. It was $40-50 when it first came out.

Need more info on the lamp before I buy.

I'm pretty sure there is a good chance of the value going up or maintaining the 150 but not all of us are looking to flip or sell it. If we are to buy it, is it worth the $150 asking price, that's what some of us are wondering/don't feel like the LE is worth it.

I tried using the $5 promotional code I received when I purchased Metal Gear Solid Collection: LE but it didn't work, anybody else having this problem?
