Thanks for the info, buying it right now.

Another question: which one is considered the best and which is considerd the worst? Or are they all good enough to warrant full playthroughs?

Also, Skyrim on PC is god-tier. A whole 'nother experience. If your rig is beefy, grab some mods and experience it as it was meant to be played. If you're interested, I'll whip together a shortlist of some must-have graphics mods.
I do have a browser window open to GMG's Skyrim sale, and it is a consideration, but the consensus seems to be that Dawnguard doesn't add more than about ten dollars' worth of content. I'm hoping to sit on my hands and wait for a deeper discount. I'm confident that the base game and building a house will keep me occupied at least until the winter sale.

As far as mods go, I've put in enough hours now unmodded that I should start looking into graphics improvements. I like to see a game as it was first to better appreciate the improvements. I'd welcome a post or a PM with your suggestions, thank you.

I see what you did there.

TFFix basically took T2 Unofficial Patch 1.19's NEW Engine and ported it over to Thief 1.

Considering it's on Steam, I highly suggest checking the Workshop and sorting by highest rated or most popular. There are some great mods in there, ranging from better lighting placement, to higher definition grass and glaciers, to better face models for Aela and Mjoll. They all work well in the game and contribute to enhance the overall experience, plus they don't take much to run unlike the official HD texture packs. I would link you to more, but Steam seems to be down right now.

And this is truly why I'm so grateful for owning this on PC. There's a seemingly infinite amount of content they can add in the vast expanses of barren land, and it's all free. I haven't downloaded the town of Laintar Dale yet, but it'll put me at over 100 installed mods.

Do you know where I can find the Thief 1 patch? I'm going to play them soon and prefer to start with the first one. Do I just follow the same link?

I'm wondering this as well. Great reviews but just seems too dated to warrant being put in the backlog.

Looking forward to the Skyrim mod list. I just got it so it'd be cool to beef it up before starting.

I've seen comments pointing at Romancing SaGa 2 & 3 use of assets. The guy who made it's page is here, chiptune songs are available for download.. His youtube channel is here. And wikipedia.

Well a little bit more than a day till Dishonored. I am excited but annoyed that Bethesda is not doing preloads of the game. Oh well at least I only paid $45 for it off GMG.

GMG said they would be giving keys out till it is released.

Both of the old Thief games have amazing levels but I felt Thief 1 had too many Tomb Raider style levels that, given that they were back in the olden days of level design, naturally meant you were getting lost in giant labyrinths that didn't need to make sense at all. Thief 2 kept you more in structured buildings and the like where the way forward was generally easy enough to suss out.

Both are amazing games though. I look forward to trying out these patches. Do they work with fan missions? I still need to play COSAS, T2X, Calendra's, and so many more.

Also, everyone who thinks that Borderlands 2 is a good game is completely wrong and any fun you were having you must have imagined.

If thinking that is wrong then I don't want to be right.
