ing reapers. Of all the 1% of games where a reaper is actually ing made, exactly zero of them have reapers getting healed by medivacs. Hell, Blizzard wants to give them high-ground vision and health regen in HotS, the two things that medivacs could theoretically provide. And yet, it still isn't as weird as hellions being able to transform into bio. Bizarre from a "how the does that work" angle, and from a "what the are you trying to accomplish" perspective. It just makes bioballs better (hellions can synergize with medivacs) and pure mech worse (where you're less likely to have medivacs, and now archons can battle hellions up).

Why wouldn't you melee a zombie anyway? Not like they've ever been a threat, just gotta power walk away. I've always found it strange that if you were out of ammo in the earlier games you couldn't melee. These people are supposed to be highly trained, and yet they were helpless without a weapon. |

No but seriously.
It's a landmine, right? It walks around then it burrows and you can blow it up when someone walks over it. But it also shoots out these really powerful missiles, so it's a landmine that can shoot, like, buildings. And the missiles are actually way better than blowing the mine up. And since it's burrowed you need a detector but the missiles auto-target cloaked units so I'd have to keep my observers way the away from them anyway.Who the puts a rocket launcher on a landmine?

RE4 and 5 had that Japanese style gaming feel. Heavy movements, slow mechanics and the such. I enjoyed the fact that the only way to do certain moves was because you staggered the enemy. From playing a RE5 again and then going to RE6, it is a complete control change. Surprising and unwelcomed change for me. My hands were ready for some RE5 style gaming, not callofdutygearsofwarstreetfighteraddfest. I was dispatching zombies with two or three melee hits, while it was taking 5-6 shots to drop a zombie with my pistol. Well at least we got ourselves a Resident Evil that allows you to shoot and move at the same time Now that I get this RPG Resident Evil, I can only imagine the end game is going to be hilariously awesome. I expect some people out there to bust out some Vanquish style videos. Still don't get why I HAVE to "Eliminate all Enemies" in a Resident Evil game :(

And RE5 was half Gears of War styled though. Just with the worst cover system I've ever played in a game. Your character didn't even put their back to the wall straight. I know the cover system isn't great in RE6, but the one in RE5 definitely came off as a last minute decision with no effort put into it. RE4 and 5 had RPG elements as much as this one, just this time you're picking up skill points and upgrading and buying skills instead of picking up money and upgrading and buying weapons. Walking and shooting is good though. It would have been crazy if they still didn't have that in this one |
