Where did I call you a douchebag? Read what I wrote. I said the suggestion that it is ok makes you sound like a douchebag to me. It's not an accusation. It's an opinion based on the rules of the league, and the fact that you've made multiple cases for it being ok (earning more XP for your players, etc). It doesn't matter if running up the score "doesn't bother you". It's in the league rules. No one should be doing it.

So Chetty (Dolphins) and I (Cardinals) have been trying to start for about 20 minutes and we're stuck with the "Game session is no longer available" error.

I Googled it and people in other leagues on other sites are getting it randomly too. No fix found.

Well, that sucks. I guess we might just have to sim that one? There was a similar problem in last year's game where two people just couldn't ever connect and even resetting routers/settings did no good. Those games basically had to be simmed.

If the league wouldn't mind me staying ill stay! This situation is one for learning on my part all the way around but in the future I wouldn't mind keeping it between us for the most part and just saying what we initially said in the thread to let the league know what happened. I let it go to far and should have taken my own advise and thought before I let my emotions run high.

That's fine. But I'm saying man, a 21 point lead with 3 minutes left in the game...that game was yours. Think about it. I kicked a field goal instead of trying to go for it on 4th and 5 on the previous drive...and then I kicked it deep after that. The reason I did those things was because I didn't want to get blown out even worse.

I'm not trying to run anybody out of this league, but really, enough is enough with this stuff. When your opponent is basically conceding defeat, show some humility and let the game end. The alternative is having your opponent rage quit (which is what I really felt like doing). I probably wouldn't have even been as upset if I had just quit out of the game...because I wouldn't have had to sit there and stew in it, watching Doc run dive plays inside my 10 yard line (which, yeah...was "nice"...but made me feel like an even bigger loser at that point).

That's the thing...what's worse? Coming in here and ranting about somebody...or just rage quitting when you feel like you're being disrespected? A lot of people have problems with both. But I can tell you, the desire to just quit out of the game comes from the feeling of being disrespected. And I'm sure I'm not the first person to have that reaction. In those instances, I can't say I'd blame someone for just quitting.

So, from here on out, is that just what we do? If someone isn't playing by the rules and you feel that you're being disrespected, just quit out of the game and give them the win. I'm not condoning rage quitting...but I'm not condoning dbag playcalls late in the game either. To me, they go hand in hand...and we should all be trying to avoid BOTH of those outcomes.

But yeah...you're welcome to stay. Like I said, you're not the first person to do something questionable in here. I may be a Nazi, but I try not to just completely stick in someone's arschloch. But I don't want to see people playing like dbags running people off either...and I WOULD rather run off the dbags myself than lose honest members because of stuff like that. Now, I'm not including you on one side of that fence or the other. I'm just saying...that's something we all need to be aware of. I've said it many times before, it doesn't matter how good you are at the game if nobody wants to play you.

Doesn't seem necessary. The only concession I'd make is that it's early in the game still. Not sure how many coaches wouldn't be happy with a 28-0 halftime lead though.

My question in these cases just always has to be "Why was it necessary?"

As far as i knew it wasn't against the rules to use hurry up in the final 2 minutes of a half. The score was 28-0, he had just threw an interception i had returned it to my 30 with about 1 minute 20 left on the clock. First down i ran. GO TO THE PLAYCALLING SCREEN. Second down i do a run and happen to get the first down, the clock starts clicking under a minute so i call 1. Exactly 1 hurry up because i got the first and he pauses it and runs to the forums to complain, knowing i plugged my modem directly into the xbox and most likely wouldn't be able to view it, the only reason i knew is because i had my phone on me and figured i'd check the thread while i waited for him. I figured he was going to the bathroom. Then i saw his post and just knelt out the clock for the rest of the half and didn't even bother with trying to score. Honestly, why the wouldn't you just speak up on your mic that you had on the entire game or just send me a message saying something and i would of just used one of my 3 timeouts, let you reset up your d and continued playing the game. But no your go to move was to come right to the forum to bitch, even though you have been putting me through the ringer the entire week so far. Way to be 2 hours late for the game today. After missing the scheduled time yesterday. CLASSY(see we both can use that word too)

It was a fourth down on my 30 with about 2:30 second left in the game. I didn't feel the need to kick a field goal with a 35-7 lead so i knelt it and gave you the ball back. Didn't realize you'd bitch about that as well
