Chiefs - 31 Raiders - 21

The Kansas City Chiefs make it two in a row by containing the Raiders at Arrowhead. With the score 31-7 going into half time the Chiefs stepped back and started pounding the rock. Jamaal Charles finished with 187 yards on 17 carries and had 2 TDs.

The defense played well, holding the Raiders offense to just 7 points until late in the 4th quarter. Forcing four turnovers and containing Pryor was a large part of Kansas City's success.

Next up, a rematch against the San Diego Chargers where the Chiefs look to move to 3-0 in their division!

Eagles 34 - Falcons 20

Falcons broke out 14-3, but after a kick return TD by Jackson the tide of the game turned and the Eagles run game took over with both Jacobs and Mccoy averaging over 9 yards a carry.

Was happy my secondary could contain the Falcons after an emberassing show against Sprice.

GG as always DVO

FYI, the league tweeted out that Maybin would be back this week despite the injury resets.

I honestly don't get how Harvin is worth that much....

To me the Vikings are running away with this trade.

What if we took tate out of the trade? Or took the second rounder out? Or maybe if he gave me a scrub CB or a late pick

I pretty much agree. Harvin is great, but Tate isn't useless due to his skill as a returner, and the 2nd definitely has some value too.

I can't speak for the rest of the committee, but that would probably make a difference for me.

Of course I've still got MA and his Panthers on the schedule. Luckily he has never scored against me

Lets get this bye week done sooner rather than later. I've got a date with Doom! #pause (nohomo)

By the way, this kind of snuck up on me, but next week (week 9) is the trading deadline.

Yes, we can do one more. Probably Week 12. Though keep in mind that the more good FAs which are signed now, the fewer that will be available in the offseason.

Speaking of this - has anyone been able to negotiate an extension with the free agent they signed?

I haven't been offered the chance, so no.

I'd be cool with losing the 2nd rounder...

He made the offer, which I agree was a bit much, but I wasn't going to turn it down lol
