This search bar is a powerful tool for navigating CAG. You can use it to find the lowest prices on games, trade-in values, search members, forum and blog topics, and much more.
After searching for a game title, click the
icon to pop-up a window with pricing information.
After typing in what you are looking for, you can filter your results by clicking on one of the tabs that pops up from the top of the search bar.
Looking for a game on a specific platform? Type in the platform name with the title!
Example: guitar hero 360
You don't need to click a pop-up tab to filter results. Just type what you are looking for right into the search bar.
Example: gears of war prices
Example: ninjatown review

Thanks, Hank.
The shoot-through-corner stuff isn't so much a bug as it is that the cover system is somewhat unintuitive, especially for people who played the original.

That is also another bug. All Avatars have this really bad Sith Corruption, even if they are Light sided or neutral.
Just wait, something will run a muck

I gotta say I always enjoy Crotch's play by play commentary on WTF design decisions on the games he plays.

Can't comment on Dishonored, but...
Xcom is an awesome game with a couple rarely-important but bafflingly stupid design decisions and a shitload of bugs, though most are of the visual variety and the ones that actually harm the gameplay are rare. And according to Firefox, "bafflingly" isn't a word. |

I did have a couple more pop up today. When returning from a scientific research video, the menu appeared where the cursor was, not underneath the main menu. Also, on a mission I had a selection box sticking in one square. None of it affected gameplay. |

So the new Xcom has a pretty interesting door mechanic, especially compared to the
ing deathtraps that were doors in the original. You can either take things slow, move up to the door, and open it manually, or you can run through a door, making a lot of noise and alerting any nearby aliens. The weird thing that I just noticed, though? You can only open a door from the side. If you're standing in front of it, you either have to run through or step one square to the side to open it. This is something that pretty much never comes up, but... why? Also weird: a character can open a door even if they've already used up all their moves so long as they aren't your last character. Also something you wouldn't do often, but it has some strategic value. I only bring this up because the second one might be a slideshow-worthy bug, and it might be a design decision (since door opening isn't counted as an "action" in this game). |
