What bonus was applied to get the nearly forty bucks for the dualshock 3 controller?

With a day or so left with that 50% promo ive decided to trade in infamous 2. I want to keep it for my ps3 collection but i need 10 more bucks for ass creed liberation so this will cover it. Its not like infamous 2 will go up in price or anything so ill buy it back using a b2g1 free deal or something

Just bumping this because the Dualshock 3 is down to 24.75 base as of 10/12.

The values are definitely dropping, although the bonus 50% trades I had with me were still the same. However, I did not have Mass Effect 3 so it looks like I should have traded it in earlier, also.

FYI: I got on the WiiU waitlist but they said they would not be getting any more in, besides the initial shipment, until January?

I have a phat 40GB PS3 and upgraded it to 320GB. I was thinking of taking the hard drive out and put the old 40GB and then sell it but does anyone know if all the stuff in the 320GB will be gone? I would then buy a slim PS3 and put the 320GB in it and hope for everything to be there.
Also, I have never sold a console on Gamestop but I'm guessing they need all the original cables and the controller no? Do they open the console on the spot to make sure everythings working? Thanks for any replies.

Console, power cord/block, AV cables (no HDMI) 1 Sony branded Dualshock 3 or Sixaxis controller w/ sync cable. They don't open it up, but they do check to see if the warranty seal is in tact. They also power it on, pop a game in and test a few things. Well...that's what they're supposed to do.

So the core Xbox white trades in for $100? Will I get more if I throw in a 20gb HDD?

AFAIK you can't put in the 320GB on a new PS3 and just use it. Each PS3 is coded or something and the hard drive can only be read from the same PS3. Basically, if you put in the 320GB in a new PS3, it will say it has to format the hard drive in order for the PS3 to use it.

My suggestion is to either
1) back up the 320GB to an external hard drive and then restore it later on to your new PS3. However, using this method will make you lose all the 'copy-protected' save files.

or the better
2) buy a new PS3 and transfer all the data. (I forgot what the exact term was but it is something like transfer). This will let you keep all the copy-protected data as well.

Just confirmed the 170$ price for a 120gb PS3 over the phone. Currently backing up all my saves and such.

According to the poweruprewards list it says the tivs are guaranteed until the 14th. That means the base tiv right, not just that the 50% is guaranteed. So I'll definitely get $13-$14 for darksiders 1?
