i got the skylanders gift card not valid until next week.. sucks to be me

also toysrus selection for 59.99 games is really small.. all available to me was fifa, borderlands and nba 2k13

I went to my local one and didn't see any signs. They knew nothing about it. They didn't have my game in so I passed.

Did x com come out? I didn't see it.

it did come out, i saw it at my store earlier this week, when i was trying to looking for fifa 13/ nhl 13 for the 2 / $70 deal. but it is ymmv if your store got it

I tried PMing this to bestbuy (i know it was a longshot) but they said no

I noticed that rocksmith game was 39.99 if anyone was interested.and the halo reah limited had a clearance sticker but not sure of the price.

I usually bite on TRU's Oct deal like this but there is not one game I would pay full price for right now, not even Dishonored so I am going to pass this yr.

Got two Dishonoreds and I'll be trading one in tomorrow for 43.00.

Seems worth a shot...got XCOM last week, will try tomorrow and see what happens. Got a few BBs in the area, too, so can try a couple different places if I'm bored...which is unlikely.

Went to my local TRU and I didn't notice any Skylanders' promo gift cards on their counters. Purchased my games and they gave me a standard promo card that expires next February. Some stores I'm guessing haven't bothered stocking their registers with the promo cards.

The unwritten rules

For those of you who have gift cards to burn there is a glitch on toysrus.com right now where the Xbox 360 Holiday Bundles are 25% off once you add them to your cart. It's a glitch because the promo is supposed to work on toys and video games and hardware are always excluded from these type of promos.

Both units are currently backordered but you can still checkout.

it may not work but if you check in with FourSquare app or maybe facebook? you get a 20% coupon off purchases of $100 or more, will be sending the wife to return the skylanders & borderlands tomorrow and see if it works with the coupon too.. worth a shot... i'm sure most clerks will shoot it down but some might not and the system will probably accept it too?

edit...I'm looking at the coupon, video games probably are excluded but hey?

I stopped by Kmart today and purchased a purple 3DS. Received the $5 AWARD card, valid now, the $35 gaming coupon, valid 10/21-12/08/12, and another coupon for 7,000 free SWYR points ($7.00) for purchases over $35, good until 10/28/12. So basically, if I go back and use the gaming coupon between 10/21-28, I get an additional $7 on the purchase of a free 3DS game.

I did check clearance, but it was pitiful, and it was just the same lot of games that was shelved when KmartGamer was conductor of the coupon train.

Yeah, I went and got God of War Origins w/Red Controller bundle for $32.75 and new Super Mario Bros. Used a Coupon for Bonus 6,000 points when spending more than 60 bucks and got the Award card for $5 and a new Spend $50 get $10 in points coupon. They seem to give variations of that coupon with everything nowadays. I have like 25 bucks in SYWR points from just 3 transactions

So it appears the %25 off clearance promo is working without any overrides/adjustments
