used the 50% promo towards a new 3ds. With promo, PUR, & a $4 refurb fee paid $5.98 out of pocket for a blue 3ds XL. Was going to question the refurb fee but was in a hurry to pre-order the wii u at my Target so decided not to. Worked out well in the end as I did get my wii-u reservation card at Target and when the gamestop employee finalized my transaction he just remembered a new 3ds console purchase came with a free new copy of 3ds steel diver!

Noticed a promo not mentioned here.

Trade any 3 games and get an extra 10% in-store credit, trade any 5 for an extra 20% or 7 or more for an extra 30%.

Can I trade in a Xbox slim with no hard drive/internal memory? I have a 250 gb Xbox, but need to keep the HD. Will i be able to even trade it in?

It originally "expired" on Sunday and then reappeared on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Nope, you need to HDD to trade. If you need your saves you'll have to upload to cloud.

Or transfer whatever to another system first

Thats what i was really wondering, I'm not sure how to play it, i guess i could take in the HDD just in case the guy says I need one, if not then ill keep the HDD in my bag heh.

Do you NEED to have a ps3 controller with the trade in of a ps3 slim console? (like you do with a fat xbox) Or does the controller count separately (the 24 trade value tacked, onto the 90-something for the ps3)

Kicking myself in the pants for not trading in SR3, ME3, NSMB DS, when the TIV were higher this last week for that promo

I wish the trade 3 get an extra $10 stacked with other deals. I may use the trade and get an extra 30% +10% toward a new game and get ACIII

Yes you need the controller with the PS3 (and the power cord, usb charging cable and a/v cable too), no it doesn't add on top of the total value

I don't know this for a fact but I suspect when they scan the serial number, it tells them what kind system it is (ie, if its a 4gb or 250gb system).

Dammit. I traded in a bunch of stuff and got a 3ds xl last month, now they're offering 50% extra credit and $20 off via coupon. I wish I could think of a way to get some credit back or something.
