If you want more unique PC multiplayer, definitely check out The Ship. Assassin's Creed multiplayer basically copied it, but you do a lot more in The Ship.

It's $20, but it comes with two extra copies to send to friends, so ultimately it's really cheap.

Thought it was pretty interesting hearing Cheapy talk about PC Multiplayer quick matches for fun.

I really hate multiplayer that has level ups, perks, etc. It really turns you off when you are new to the game, matchmaking sucks, and you just die over and over due to unfair advantage. I remember games like Team Fortress Classic, where if your Pyro wasn't doing well, just switch to Engineer and try a different play style. And you could do that from the start w/o earning perks or leveling up.

Completely off topic here but thought this would be an appropriate place to put this as there may be a possibility cheapy could read this out on the next show..

From time to time my wife is either in the car with me or in the same room as me when I listen to the podcast.... Some how I got onto the topic of the cag cast and she asks me "who is shit break? Needless to say I lost my shit.... Couldnt stop laughing.

She has some questions:

Why is wombat called wombat and why is shipwreck shipwreck? Gamertags?

If you can... Say shipwreck and shitbreak immediately after each other.. Thanks.

Yeah the guy that does Gangnam Style (Psy) is making bank. He is always on TV with commercials for stuff.

Couldn't tell if Shipwreck was being serious or not when he was upset to learn that Master Chief's name was John from that Halo 4 achievement. But it's been known since Halo: Combat Evolved that he's Master Chief Petty Officer John-117. "Master Chief" is just his rank, the highest a non-commissioned officer can receive in the UNSC. He's never known his last name because the UNSC kidnapped kids to make the Spartan-IIs. 117 is just his test subject number. Shipwreck is the name of a G.I. Joe character, Shipwreck is a huge fan of G.I. Joe.

Wombat's name, I can't remember clearly. I think it was just his forum handle when he signed up for CAG, or something to do with UGO, or a play on Batman, maybe they can answer it next CAGcast.

Pretty sure that "Wake Up John" just has to do with Master Chief waking up from the cryo-sleep at the end of Halo 3 and beginning Halo 4. No worries, Shipwreck.

Boring without Wombat. I guess it's nice of you to do a show, but it just sounds like two guys sitting around agreeing with each other.

Reminds me back when Wombat wasn't in an episode (must have been an early CAGCast or one of the Black Friday episodes or something), but Cheapy edited in Wombat sound clips to make it seem like he was there. It was hilarious! Yeah I agree, if he's still out of power by the next episode, at least put in some Wombat sound bites!

It was the Black Friday 2011 show. And yeah, if Wombat's still out of power, then Cheapy should consider clips. Wonbot 2.0 may not be anywhere as good as the Real Wombat, but it can be an incredible simulation. After all, "Now's the time to buy!™"
