Strip sack for a TD and then a bobbled punt return, which set me up for a short TD. Those were my highlights. GG again, stepano Z.
Wow, Kurt Warner unretires in the online franchise as well?
What kind of contract did the game assign him if you dont mind me asking? Im not being shady, juts intrigued is all.

I'm thinking he named his coach Kurt Warner?

Haha yeah, he's not actually in the game or anything. I just couldn't really think of anything funny or anything else related to the Rams, so I decided to make him my coach. He plans to help with Bradford's development...

Edit: and honestly it would of just been easier for you to send me a message to clarify what I mentioned instead of leaving that in the thread where I might not have seen it.
I didn't even know I send you a game invite. I think maybe I clicked joined the lobby to check my playbooks and left and accidently did it. I guess thats were I got confused with you saying I coudn't play. My bad

Anyway Cowboys could be set to computer? We tried to play two nights ago and he dropped out twice(bad router). He wasn't around last night. Not sure if he's gonna be around tonight and we're being advanced tomorrow. Not too mention I don't think the router problem is fixed. With his track record(missed his last two games I think), I was hoping I would actually be able to play my game, even if its against the computer.

Wow you actually wrote in on the boards. You dick lol.

Yes my router went out and last night there was a nor'easter and I couldn't get online. So no do not place me on computer. I will be available to play 11EST. I get out of work at 1030 so for some people its more difficult to get in games with me.

I live a mile away from BallinHun, don't allow him to use this "Nor'Easter" as an excuse.

I was ready last night. I was also ready the night before me where we tried twice to play but both times his router messed up. I get up for work at 6 AM, I'd rather not spend another night staying up late to accommodate him again. Since I worked around his availability twice now, maybe he should try to work around my available times? Or at least let me play the computer since it was his router that crapped up, and he's the one that can't play until 11PM on a weeknight.

This is now the third week in a row you've had problems finding a game time with your opponent. I've played all of my games with no problems.

I'm sorry guys but I'm out. This is turning into more of a high school league than a gentlemen's league. Too much finger pointing, overbalanced stress for me. I appreciate being added to the league but would like to respectfully retire. This truly has become more of a hassle and a grind than the enjoyable, gentlemanly, fantasy football like experience that I was expecting. Thanks again and good luck to everyone else the rest of the season.

And this is the holier than thou attitude, along with the other comments that will follow, that makes for a high school atmosphere and makes the new folks want to quit...

I'm going to have to have fsecreast back on this one, don't let him pull that crap. Fsecreast should be playing the CPU now.

And agreed with pitfall, this league specifically said don't pull that crap, sign up one and done. Just like the BS you posted "hopefully I'll be back in a season or two" in the other league, I hope you get blacklisted at this point. You seem like a nice guy and all, but thats just obnoxious to pull this. There is no high school anything in this league. My guess is most of us are all young professionals at this point, and we just want to play football. If you can't handle the smack talk just do as you said and leave. We don't need people waivering on the fence about playing, we have enough people interested as it is.

Also, packers vs lions just took place. Lions 28, Packers 0.

My defense finally came together after putting in some work on it. Suh forced a fumble, Bill Bentley had a pick six and a few other interceptions. On special teams ran back a punt.

Offensively I tried to keep everything on the up and up (not trying to run up the score, passing, etc). Matt Stafford was 3/5 for 41 yards and TD. Kevin Smith had 23 attempts going for 129 yards and a TD.

Good game Steggy.

It's just too much for me at this time. I thought I could handle the time commitment but with work, kids, wife, and other commitments something has to drop. If you want to blacklist me that's up to you guys. If honestly doesn't matter to me. As you get older and have a family etc you learn that sometimes you need to cut things that are fun but take too much time out of your other commitments. That is what this has become and I have to just notice it and respectfully back out. If that can't be accepted and you want to blacklist, contact a mod, that's up to you guys. Even though this is just a few games a week it's just too much with everything I have going on. I also thought this would be fun as a person who has played madden since it came out when I was in college but as a casual player it just is not fun at all. I don't have time to practice, scheme, etc. Hell i dont even have tine to scout. I just have time to play. With that commitment level this will never be fun for me. The other things were small reasons, that is the main reason and for that I am out. If you don't understand now, trust me one day you will. If you have kids and can juggle all of this then congrats, I surely can't.

What? I haven't even seen much arguing in the last few pages. Here's the thing, it's a competitive league. People are going to get riled up from time to time, opinions are going to differ, etc. None of it means that we hate each other or that we can't reasonably co-exist. If a little debate or testosterone jockeying really upsets you and causes that much personal turmoil, then you're not cut out for sports.

I've argued with almost every single person in this league about something at one point or another. But I respect all of them, and hope that our mutual interest in football can allow us to peaceably co-exist. To me, this seems like a pretty flimsy excuse. If you don't have time for the league, that's fine. But your last post was complaining about the difference in skill...and then you don't bother to play a game against the CPU. In my opinion, you've pretty well established yourself on CAG as a flake...and I would advise any league to think twice before accepting yourself as a member in the future. But yeah...we're the ones acting like high schoolers...

LOL...and you tell pitfallharry he's acting "holier than thou". Wow...it's a good thing none of the rest of us have any of those personal commitments. How would we ever get anything done? Whatever, man. It's really nothing to get upset about for either side. No one's forcing anybody to play. But I do believe that people who prove to be unreliable shouldn't be shocked if others regard them as such in the future. Just as you have to "do your thing", we have to as well. The league would never get off the ground if everyone behaved like that.

I understand. Starting a new family makes gaming hard. You think you can commit, and eventually something has to break. I am in the same boat as you, but am trying to hang in there by strictly playing and no scouting, practice, etc.

I also agree with this too. Ha...
