Switching the teams wasn't about taking teams away from good players. After all, two of those guys have the exact same teams they had last year and the other two have better teams than they had last year. It was just meant to give everyone a shot at getting a different team if they wanted one.

If we'd wanted to make switching teams about competitive balance, we could have done that, but it's not what we were going for. The best players are going to be the best no matter what teams they have, there's not really anything unfair about that though. You could give Doom the worst team in the league and he'd still make the playoffs every season. It's not an accident that Doom, Mog, Sprice and Cru have won 9 titles between them: They're the best players in the league. It's up to the rest of us to step up our game to de-throne them.

We've started working on the awards (by which I mean I remembered we were going to do it and e-mailed the committee just now). We'll post what the categories are once we decide on them if anyone wants to put forward the credentials for their players.

Weekend is possible I guess, though keep in mind that we do have free agency, etc to get through first.

Presumably we'll also want to have a few days for people to make trades. I don't think we're going to want to rush through this first offseason.

Considering they don't even use actual college players for NCAA, that's never gonna happen. I agree it would be sweet though.

LaRon Landry for DPOY! I doubt he'll win it, but worth a nomination. He was leading all players with takeaways (INTs+FF) toward the end of the season. His tackle numbers are above average, but I stopped usering him at some point during the season.

Yeah, they just don't use anyone's name. You can actually import a draft class (or at least you could in years past, not sure about whether you still can with CC) but that feature's not available for online leagues.

So XP used for purchasing packages carries over from season to season, right? I probably should have used those scouting points, though. At least I upgraded players.
