So I gotta share my story, it's so ed up! I went to Walmart at 10:30 in Merrillville, IN to pick up my preorder. I went early because I wanted to make sure to get a Pro Controller. Walmart got in 60 Deluxe + 4 Basic. 52 of the 60 Deluxe were for preorders. The first 7 people in line didn't have a preorder, so those went fast. Not only did the Walmart NOT have Pro Controllers, they only had the games that were released on 11/13, no Mario, ZombieU, etc.

So I darted over to Meijer at 12:15am which is a mile down the road to see if they had any games. Not only did they have all games in stock, they had 5 basic model Wii U's in stock! I asked them how many they got in, they got 10 total(4 Deluxe and 6 Basic)! So Walmart has this huge crowd and is out immediately and Meijers wasnt touched -_-. Worse part was that the Pro Controllers at Meijer weren't programmed in the system, so they wouldn't ring up...meaning they couldn't sell them. Such an odd night!

Just hit two of the 24 hour Walmarts I had preordered at, and was told to come back when layaway opened.

Bestbuy.com has the option of doing an in-store pickup for the Pro controllers. I got 3 from where I will be picking up my Wii U tomorrow. This has been the easiest Console Launch I've experienced.

Also for those looking around for WiiU's I would suggest Meijers, 24 hours store, and lowkey as hell compared to walmart,

pretty sure when you put something on lawaway you pay a deposit, so as long as you dont miss a payment they won't sell it.

I thought Target was Buy 2 Get 1 at 50% off, which would mean you would buy 2 at full price and get the 3rd at 50%. Am I wrong?

toysrus deal is better.. TRU is b1g1 40% off (20% discount)
target is b2g150% off (16.66% discount) plus you have to find 3 games you want over just 2

unless you have a redcard then the savings are about the same.

Thanks for the heads up on the controllers! I'll say the same about the console launch if Target's preorder cards go smoothly. Some comments on here have me nervous.

So I just saw the thread where you can trade in a slim ps3 for $150 towards a Wii u at best buy. Will best buy have some Wii u's tomorrow for ppl who didn't preorder? Will there be a line or something for ppl didn't preorder?

Got a deluxe one at Meijer without any problem
